The M1A1 AIM is absolutely useless without the KE-W. It isn’t fair for any top tier tanks to start with HEAT-FS when the russian ERA tanks exist.

It was worse before last update. KE-W used to be a rank 3 modification.
It’s only 2 modifications to unlock it, it’s really not that bad.

Now’s the time for Gaijin to move it to the British tree with all the other Aussie vehicles. Especially considering now France has a Dutch Leopard 2. It’ll actually be useful then. How many Abrams tanks do the US need?
I would be fine if the Australian AIM goes to the UK tree if it gets replaced by the American M1A1 AIM

Or just change it to the American AIM without giving the Brits it, They already have loads of their own MBT’s and a Russian copy pasta MBT as well, America shares enough tanks with nations that don’t need them, Especially trees that have more tanks than them.

Basically every top MBT starts with stock HEATFS, Why would it be fair to give it special treatment?

This isn’t just an AIM problem it’s pretty much most MBT’s past 11.0. HEAT is useless against anything with Composites or ERA. Meanwhile anybody who has APFSDS has a major advantage. Same goes with Thermals.
And? That’s 10 Challengers. US have 11 Abrams, 13 if you include the prototypes.
Say that to the Leopard 2 everyone has. France just got not 1 but 3 of them. Australian M1 is a squadron vehicle, so still pretty rare.
they should move it up to rank 8 with the squadron T 80 U, that would give it stock APFSDS
all abrams (I think) get heatfs stock stop complaining

One dumb decision doesn’t justify another dumb decision, But even still Germany has 20 more tanks than the US while sharing fewer tanks with fewer nations overall so its not anywhere near the same level of stupidity, Germany has the 2AV despite it being made for the US too.

Australia uses the Abrams, that’s the point. Australia already has around a dozen vehicles in the British tree.
One dumb decision? You make it seem like British T-90, Italian Leopard 2, Swedish Leopard 2’s and T-80 never happened. The line has been crossed ages ago.

Forgot the very top rank itself got some darts, But the rest of 11.0-11.7’s that are a rank lower aside from the Brits start with it.
While that would be cool, I’m tired of seeing other nations get the same vehicles. I get that the Hungarian line helps to flesh out Italy and so on but I’m tired of seeing the same vehicles copied throughout nations.
