The M1A1 AIM really deserves the KEW-A2 shell just like the Taiwanese Abrams got in the new Line of Contact update. The AIM has the same base gun and shells as the M1A1 HC and the regular M1A2, so it makes sense for it to get the same KEW-A2 round without changing its BR. As for thermals, yes, the AIM has Gen 2 while the HC and M1A2 have Gen 1, but honestly, thermals aren’t everything Gen 2 doesn’t always guarantee kills and can give a false sense of advantage in close fights. Since the AIM’s mobility and armor are basically the same as the HC, there’s no reason to touch its BR; keeping it where it is keeps matches fair while just letting it have the proper ammo it should’ve had all along.
There is no reason to move M1A1 AIM to 12.7.
M1A1 HCs being under-BR’d is another issue.
