I would like to understand one clear thing, how is it that when I come to the WT forum and read all the players’ suggestions, the players’ complaints for some time, I have noticed something incredible, the next update does not include any of the suggestions or complaints made by the players, none have been observed or taken into account, so what’s the point of coming to complain about things that are not right in the game, suggestions made by the community, desires for radical and urgent changes, this is what we ultimately observe, a shipwreck of an update, SPAA NATO nerf before the release buff of the KH38 prime prime prime, in this entire update none of the community’s statements have been taken into account, whether it concerns the Abrams, the KH, the basket system and I could go on for hours unpacking all of this, none of it has been taken into account, I simply suggest stopping the suggestions, complaints, etc., this is just a statement.
There’s a big difference between complaining for the sake of complaining and constructive criticism.
“I don’t like turret baskets” is not constructive criticism
My wishes will be included in the next update. I don’t know what you’re talking about xd
This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.
So for you, the whole forum is just made up of people who complain without being constructive. I think your argument isn’t constructive either. I’m talking about the entire community, not just the people who complain at the slightest flaw. Let me rephrase it then, if you didn’t understand: by reading the WT forum, there are many people who suggest or complain about obvious things, whether it’s on videos, in live broadcasts, or on the forum. There are not just whiners, as you say; you generalize the community as being all whiners, and I do not accept that from you.
Stock missiles, stock flares in planes, repair changes, FPE changes, all from constructive feedback
And the irony is, they added modules to vehicles because of community feedback. But a subset of the community doesn’t like it when its their vehicles that get them, and complains on the forums
Everyone has the right to think what they want; it’s called freedom of expression or freedom of thought. I express myself for what I think and not because someone told me ‘I got my stuff in this next update’ or ‘great, I have new flares.’ I believe that the majority of the community did not expect to receive a series of boats and bonuses everywhere. It serves no purpose to come and say ‘yes, but I like boats’; I am talking about the majority, and you are part of the 1% who might like boats and play with them. A concrete example is if I open Twitch, I do not see boat players. If that were the case, it would be 1% of streamers doing it. Peace.
Oh, so the problem isn’t that gaijin don’t listen to players, but that gaijin don’t listen to YOU specifically?
But not the right to get what they want, at the expense of the game and other players.
There’s a reason you don’t put community in charge of anything that affects game balance. Its almost impossible to get anything that resembles objective feedback.
Kh-38MT has not been buffed. GPS guidance is not a buff to IR AGMs.
NATO SPAA has not been nerfed.
Vehicles being released with inaccuracies is not a nerf, it’s inaccuracy; and new NATO SPAA has not been released in War Thunder yet.
People overwhelmingly like autoloaders/turret baskets being modeled; almost none dislike it statistically speaking. You have to remember the forums are a tiny minority of the playerbase.
Abrams issues lack unclassified and unrestricted documents for pretty much everything but the turret ring, and the turret ring issue isn’t make or break for the tank in gameplay.
It’s something I personally care about, but ultimately while my opinion is the majority of the forum’s takes on Abrams, it’s probably a minority of the playerbase itself.
@Grossaaaa
The only time Gaijin listened is when the forum blew up.*
“Players” review bombed the game after Gaijin opened up feedback form after reverting the game’s economy back to the previous economy.
Gaijin exclusively listens to the forum, any other statements are pure lies.
Stock APFSDS became a feature because of the feedback form and forums.
Hello
This would very much be an untrue statement. The next major update includes many vehicles, features, improvements and changes heavily requested by community members and players here on the forum leaving feedback: Major Update “Leviathans” — DEV Server Changelog (30.05.2025) - server is now locked
With too many to name and the changelog detailing them with much more information, a quick few major ones that directly came from community suggestions and feedback:
- Adding aircraft carriers back both as targets and as re-arm bases
- Swiss subtree to provide Germany with more multi-role CAS aircraft and introduce Swiss vehicles into the game.
- Multi-vehicle unit control, a longstanding request to see systems with multiple vehicles to control
- Further cockpit expansions for existing helicopters, visual model updates for existing popular tank units.
- Leclerc Prototype MCS, a suggestion taken directly from the French community who for some time have been requesting this vehicle. Among other vehicles added this update, like the Fokker D.XXI, L-39ZA and many others that were very much suggested and requested.
- Further expansion of the multi-vehicle lineup packs, something that was asked for quite a lot by many.
And this is just some of the larger points of the update, not even scratching the surface of the hundreds of fixes, improvements and changes that came both directly from feedback but also bug and suggestion reports made by players across the game.
Naturally there will always be more suggestions, ideas and feedback and there wont be a stopping point where we cease acting on that. Realistically speaking however some things cant happen immediately and don’t appear overnight. Many suggestions may already be in the works, planned or being readied for a future update due to a number of reasons. It would never be possible to implement every idea all at once, but we for sure wont ever stop collecting, reading, forwarding and acting on player feedback.
