In that same year, English Electric merged with other companies to form the British Aircraft Corporation, with the aircraft becoming the BAC Lightning. It was designed to intercept Soviet strategic bombers and served until the late 1980s.

Is it there permanently or is it temporarily back for this? Not sure if the wording means is temporary discount or return to availability

I believe this is a temporary return of the aircraft with discount on the price. Just judging by the last few times they’ve done sales like this.
