The Leopard 2A8 in the game is based on a lot of ‘we think’ and some early data. Considering that the Leopard 2A8 itself is still in development, it’s suggested to rename it to Leopard 2A8 (Prototype) or Leopard 2A8 (Early Version). Also, the front-mounted camera that caused the L55A1’s depression angle to drop to 7.4° is currently only on the Leopard 2A7, while other L55A1 carriers should still have the original angle.

I also want to know, since it’s based on this manual, will the official version of the Leopard 2A8 actually come with a remote weapon station, a 12.7mm machine gun, or a grenade launcher?

Well, it’s literally a 2A7NO brochure that KNDS has copy & pasted over for 2A8 (they only changed the font, number and added a stripe)
…and with copy pasted, i mean literally.
The fact they used it to nerf the depression but now claim “oh its for a different tank so not applicable” for everything else is ofc laughable.
