btw it’s kinda weird that azur will be a new end vehicle instead of modification to S2. We have S1/S2 and then SXXI with better armor and commander thermals which makes sense. But then we are back to S2 but now with “better” side protection (it’s gaijin we are talking here, so they will propably give it like 5mm of kinetic protecion)

I’d say it’s more of a provocation at this stage, it’s like ships, several nations have received premium ships, even the Russians (surpriise) but nothing from the French…

First 9.0+ tank since 2021though it seems liked they could have fixed mobility 1500hp now not the stupid 1475 hoping its turbo lag is fixed

I agree that a 9.0+ is fine, but what France really needs is a Premium 10.0+ and a 10.3 tree vehicle.

Adding a new Leclerc is really cool, fixing it numerous issues is better

So no OFL F2 for the AZUR, same reload and no armor fix. The only thing you get for a whole new tank is a roof mounted MG and ERA that will be only effective against CE (the AZUR kit was designed to defeat RPGs first and foremost), and might not even be enough to stop a BMP-2M’s missile. Currently on the dev server it has the same weight as the SXXI, but that’s sure to change in the live server, making it a straight downgrade to the SXXI.
The addition of the AZUR if it only adds some limited CE protection on the side is an utterly pointless addition.
Oh, and no new ships for France even though the tech tree is pretty lacking and they’re already introducing a new rank.
And some thoughts for the poor Japanese players who are going for yet another patch without a proper high tier AA.
“Gaijin listen to the community” what a load of bull. I’m so exhausted.

Honestly the best thing they coul have done with the AZUR THIS update would have been to make a Leclerc SXXI with the AZUR kit; those two (SXXI and SXXI AZUR) would have been foldered. By the way they would have added the OFL F2 to both SXXI and SXXI AZUR and, bonus, they would have corrected the armor for the latter…

What’s more, Gaijin only fights for battles that are of interest to them, and France is not one of them.
Gaijin will never make the Leclerc competitive.
The players who play it show their discontent on the forum and want change. And since the developers never come to the forums, only the administration can report this discontent to the developers. Unfortunately, this is not the case: they are all part of the same company and no one dares to say anything, and when we do, we are muzzled or hidden.
Gaijin has done some good things for France, it’s true, but it’s done so many bad things that in the end we don’t really know what to think. And since only a small proportion of players show their discontent, nothing is done.

So for now, it seems to be a Leclerc S2 AZUR which is honestly non sens cause it will be researchable after the SXXI so it would have been bettee to add the XLR with programmable ammunition AND already a best armor (similar to the AZUR)
