I don’t main germany, but i still think its sad how they have to run an aircraft that isn’t even good at their highest BR of 13.3. The airframe sucks, is slower and less maneuverable than the vehicles at the same BR, and it doesn’t have HMD, which is necessary for such a bad turning platform
Switzerland is actually not that unreasonable of a sub-TT for Germany. Adds a few things but nothing too crazy.
Its close, really really close. A year ago people were saying the F-15C MSIP II would be needed for the US to counter the Typhoon… So…Probably would only be 14.0 (the DAs) but US and USSR need at least 14.3s first.

I mean we saw how well gaijin keeps their promises… I wouldn’t rule out the possibility but denmark is more german than it is swedish, or at least I would say
Like how Belgium fills France’s bad spots up (inb4 someone says they didnt need F-16s) I guess it makes some sense to add Swiss vehicles, from their Bf 109s to F/A-18s and everything in between. Would be interesting, but still lots of copy paste.
I’m itching for a Typhoon right now, maybe if we get lucky it comes in September.
Its not that they are swedish rather its that they are of nordic heritage as far as gaijin is concerned.
Im feeling it would be unlikely to come in either autumn update and the Typhoon and Rafale are the BIG additions everyone is expecting and like how the F-15 and Gripen came in December. Im expecting the Typhoon and Rafale to be that update.
But yes, I am aswell. Im not a fan of the Gripen (dont get me wrong its good) but i just dont enjoy it, I have no “connection” to it. Typhoon would be very different and would be awesome. Looking forward to PIRATE as well.
The best im hoping for (as a Brit main) in Sep/Oct is BAE Hawk or Tornado Gr4 (and I think the Gr4 is possible as Germany could do with the ASSTA3.1 and might as well add all 3 “late” Tornado IDSs at the same time)
I think gaijin will realize norway, finland, and sweden are enough… Denmark doesn’t really add anything to the nordics… but it would add to germany
Id only agree if sweden didn’t only have four air lines.
Same with isreal. Theyll probably get multiple nations if possible to help fill the last two air lines.
im sure norway can fill that one up… There are plently of finnish vehicles not in the game as well.
I don’t know… i guess they could add some middle eastern countries but i think you would guess how that would go… not too sure those guys have the most modern stuff. maybe saudi

I hate to tell you bit thats not really true. Norway and DK wpuld both work to fill holes but they have a similar issue to benelux where they both fill roles together and also overlap
Additionally i would also like to mention the original statement for DK for sweden is premium only when asked about how it wouod be implemented. Regardless i dont think germany needs a whole sub tree for air, they just need something between EFT and KWS.
I dont really feel that a gripen C which they never bought is the main appeal. For most its the f18 and the panzer 140 and panzer 68
norwegian sub tree (some planes)- Curtiss-75A-6 (were in service during ww-2 times), Hawker Hurrican, spitfire, beaufighter, A-33, Havilland mosquito (the british ones were for norwegians fighting against nazis in ww2, stationed in britain, as there was obviously no safe norway for them. Still norwegian fighting squadrons, retired B-17G bombers, the Vampire, the F-86F and K, one or two of their F-104 variants (G, TF-104G, CF-104, or CF-104D, could add the f-84, then F-16. This is an okay subtree and contains enough vehicles similarly to the finnish subtree.
Not an entire sub tree. A branch off or even putting it under the Mig-23BN just to fill some of the holes would be great
The problem is that it was already stated that DK and Nor are currently exclusively premium for sweden and thats probably how its going to be.
The best option gajin can do is to make the 5th airline a joint Nor, and DK line. Unlike germany sweden has massive holes throughout the TT. Germany also only needs like 1 or 2 air vehicles for top tier
premiums don’t really fill holes, so which is it… I feel like gaijin making a bunch of premiums for sweden is unlikely, and i feel they would roll out one at a time. It would overall probably be more beneficial to add good premiums to germany anyways
it also makes no sense to put it with sweden in that regard…
