You’re confusing Tranche 2 with Tranche 1 block 5. Brimstone is compatible with Tranche 2 (block 15), 3 and 4. Tranche 1 block 5 is when it becomes gbu capable.
big difference there, the brimstone ability was a software update that all eurofighters received as part of a standard update.
Germanys eurofighters always had the capability to carry brimstone.
They just werent cleared for active use in the german army until recently

nothing display on the HUD, only gun reticle. If i warm up Sidewinder, i get at least tone. If i warm up AMRAAM, nothing gets displayed and no tone is heard. I imagine that would be bummer for sim players, and this information is prolly displayed on WSOs display, which you dont get access to.
most other nations have options that are equal to the Strike Eagle or better, including germany. The problem for germany is their options prior to the Eurofighter dont exist, just like real life, crazy.
