The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

The Kh-38MT still requires you to lock onto a target and you get 6 of them, the MMW Brimstones can scan for targets on their own and you’d have 18 of them.

When a reasonable replacement is found for the Kh-38MT, then it could be potentially removed until definitive proof surfaces.

ehhhhh I dont know about that at the end of the day it does take more SP to get in a plane not mention you need to grind an entire tree to get these top end fighters so to just invalidate them with something that is 70sp is a little dumb but I do agree we need stronger spaa for everyone but russia

go away for a couple hours to spend time with the missus and its still going on

British mains must’ve been daydreaming everyday about spamming 18x/15x FnF brimstones in grb and getting instant nukes everyday only for it to be laser guided only

The laser guided Brimstones are still very good, I’d be fine with the Su-34 getting the Kh-38ML only, but it has no thermal sights making target detection difficult or often borderline impossible without the Kh-38MT integrated thermals.

its so sad instead russia gets 6 free kills per flight instead

Nah i m just sayin that kh38mt is already capable of team wipes very easily

if brimstone cant be ingame then why does 38mt which is superior to any other agm and fnf ingame gets to exist?
why dont F-15E have 6 agm-65g but lock to 65D only?

Nah ngl this isn’t true, contrary to what gaijin said we very much could’ve gotten an XF-2 /F-2 Early around when we got the F-16AJ, either in that patch or the patch afterwards.

4x Aim-7Ms + 4x AAM-3’s, or honestly even 9Ls if gaijin went with the absolute earliest XF-2 prototype. Sure, it had an AESA, but that doesn’t effect SARHs, and we know now that gaijin barely models them. And it lacks HMD, so it’d very much have been a side-grade to the F-16C that was already in game at the point.

Gaijin would have known this if they actually researched the vehicle, which i’m not sure they honestly did.

Except Kh-38MTs are not radar guided and cannot cause unintentional teamkilling.

I know i m just talking about team wipes

shame that we just have to have a likely fake missile do that instead

Until you can prove the missile is fake, Gaijin won’t accept it. So far it is reasonable to assume the missile exists due to it being a modular design, the seeker existing and the missile complex (Kh-38MT) having a GRAU index.

they can any weapon can cause unintentional team killing, people also seem to think there is only one radar mode for the brimstone when there is 2, the one people keep saying oh it will cause team killing is the first mode where it was meant to attack formations of soviet tanks, the 2nd was a more precise mode where you had to lock the target before firing making it function the same as an IR/TV guided missile in warthunder, just with the ability to see through smoke (just add chaff elements to smoke and boom it cant)

acting like the Su30SM isnt a thing

How is that relevant when I was talking about the Su-34 directly?

and here lies the problem.

There is zero evidence to prove that its real and the photos arent mockups.

there is no real evidence proving it to be real or fake

its no different to something like a Ho RI or OI however we don’t have 80 years of distance with nothing coming up to confirm that it wasn’t a load of bs to start.

modular design is a crappy marketing buzzword and has been since the 70s, get with the times

got any detailed photos and diagrams of it? or anything more than a brochure

having a GRAU index means nothing. You need a name to call the thing you’re designing.

If you want to wipe both teams right now be my guest continue advocating for MMW munitions. Cause thats what would happen if implemented with the current radar code base.

we do have the code to make it work already. the sea venoms radar can pick up ships and even tanks at times so not much tuning for brims to be how the should.

and this argument comes out of wanting an even playing field. Nobody is gonna claim that CAS wont be OP as we all know it is even without the kh38, at least more than one nation will be able to balance books

Except that the current radar code base cant IFF a feature of millimeter wave radar is essentially scanning the outline of the returns it gets to compare against a threat database iirc. Under the current code base the missile goes to what ever gives it the strongest return (like when SARH missiles go after targets under sidelobe illumination rather than locked target) so unless you want the missiles ploughing into trees, buildings and friendlies (larger tank means bigger return) id stop advocating for something that will get half of you fuckers banned (For TKing).
