They got fixed rather than nerfed, and iirc it wasn’t even the engines, it was the drag that they changed.
Either way, it didn’t matter as it went from being the fastest and best plane in the game to being-… still the best and fastest plane in the game, until the eurofighter took the title of best plane but still not the fastest.
The issue is they “fix” US stuff but not everyone else’s. F-15 has much more channel loss than other aircraft, although I have heard the F-15 is accurate in this aspect stuff like the Su-27 seem to be grossly over performing in this area
thats no true at all lol, looks at the one thing that made the challenger 3TD better then the other challengers and they “fixed” it, trust me isnt just the US
Afaik there many other jets which should have more channel loss, but it seems F-15 is one of the only accurate ones
And if 38mt would get removed. Soviet CAS would still be the most effective and broken.

The faster a jet goes the more channel loss below mach 1 it has, cause the channels have to be designed to slow faster and faster air down to subsonic speeds for the engines.
A mach 1.5 aircraft only has to slow down air by mach .55 so it can have a more efficient air intake.
A mach 2.5 aircraft has to slow down air by over 1.55 [and the F-15’s air intake can slow down air by over mach 1.8].
However, this has nothing to do with Kh-38MTs.
