If they came out and said why they added it, and gave even a crumb of actual evidence of it existing then sure, thats fair enough and while they may be criticised for it (depending on if they’re drawing sweeping conclusions from scant evidence) then that’s something else entirely and will move the conversation on again.

I see what you’re doing. You’re trying to turn the thread back into a kikka, or f-16aj thing again. Trying to bait me into “That doesn’t match the standards”. We’ve done this dance and you know dammed well what the answer is and yet you persist in building gigantic straw men. You’re not arguing in good faith.
You’re right about one thing though, it is a lose-lose for gaijin. They added a fake weapon and it’s been discovered it’s fake.

They lose if they remove it as that requires work to replace it in the loadouts, marketing media has to be changed (there are youtube videos featuring it), some vehicles have to be re-balanced etc.

They lose if they keep it, at which point their hypocrisy is on display for everyone to see.
The only possible win for gaijin is to nerf the thing into the ground in terms of its seeker and performance, and then say something like “We believe the weapon could exist in short order, and while there is no conclusive proof it exists at the moment we feel it is not unreasonable to keep it in the game in an adjusted state”
Noone gets everything they want, especially me as I’m a purist and want all the fake stuff gone, but life is about compromise.

Thats every thread on these forums, only person who posts regularly and doesnt have a clear bias is alvis and people just shit on him because he ends up pissing off both camps.
At this point the thread is just anti US vs anti RUS posters, but most anti US posters like me at least recognize its bad for gameplay and shouldnt have been added.
Though it will be funny as hell to see this thread if gaijin doesnt remove it and evidence it is real comes up just to see the blue team lose.

all I want is so form of balance for all sides which is difficult with the MT being either fake or incredibly rare that gaijin can just kinda make the stats whatever they want for the seeker head
I expect if the missile stays in game we will probably see things like SLAM-ER soonish

And those things should be removed. The thing which you’re not getting (or pretending not to get) is that those things, by and large, aren’t game breaking.

Not really.
It’s evident that some people want it gone regardless if it’s fake or not, as it’s breaking the balance in their opinion so no, proving that the thing is fake or real will not change their opinion about it in the slightest.
Should be removed but they aren’t, which tells me Gaijin doesn’t really care if you think they’re hypocrites or not and they’ll do things their way. They’re already proven to be hypocrites when it comes to fakes, this case changes absolutely nothing.
We talked about this before, something being game breaking is subjective while something being fake isn’t.
this thread now is the second thing to pop up when kh-38mt is searched

we still fighting weather or not to remove the kh38 missile? should stay because i enjoy having fun cas and not just only america and nato (ive played german top tier cas too so ive seen both sides)
