I guess still struggling to kill T-tanks and citing random Wikipedia sentences as proof does actually go hand in hand. Good to know.
I guess still struggling to kill abrams and spawning into a something with a kh38 goes hand in hand with how hard you are defending this fake missile.
I was referencing the thought of every level 5 click bait owner one shotting t-series tanks from any direction but that flew over your head
go find max speed and average flight speed of it
you wont
Now tell me where in the brochure does it say the averages are taken from 20km of distance ?
there isnt any because they never test it ever
because its not built
hence it cannot be tested
then the numbers are just calculation
would you trust gaijin on calculating its speed when theres no info, or the actual brochure that is handed out and has the speed?
Because that’s the median distance from the max range of 40km in game, the brochure states an average between 1260 and 1370 kph, which probably means the higher average is for closer range launches and the lower one is for max range, the in game average speed within median distance is still 500kph higher than the max average range stated in the brochure, so if i launch from even closer range and lower alt the average speed will be higher, making the in game top speed claim even more ridiculous
What are you even talking about my dude ? All KH-38M missiles share the same body, hence their modular nature so they all have the same kinematics.
TBF it says “Modular guided missile”
Being modular implies you can swap the seeker head for other variants …
(As there’s only one base module, the only “module” you can change is the seeker head)
The inertial-satellite navigation system is part of the base module, not the seeker head.
Okay, why continue to only mention ONE missile. The Kh-38MT/MTE is never mentioned. They’ve removed mentions on the MTE from their own website.
Why not showcase the other variants you can switch the seeker to? Why continue to only show the laser guided munition? They’ve been to so many different Expos, but only ever mention the ML and have shown the ML other than one time in 2017 at MAKS.
1- Seems like it hasn’t been mass produced yet
2- Not all platforms might be able to use it
For example there are two videos posted above that mention only the MLE variant; One is about Ka-52 and the other about Su-57.
This might be due to lack of necessary cooling equipment.
Or perhaps they just mentioned one missile from the family to make the video shorter, while stating that it’s a modular design (I.e. you could put a different seeker head on it).
Now granted, to have it in the game there needs to be proof that various platforms can carry it, and so far I’ve not seen any proof that the Su-30SM can carry it.
You could perhaps say the brochure picture is enough for Su-34 to have it …
I read this as at .2 KM altitude, the average flight speed is 1260 kph. At 12 KM altitude it’s 1370 kph. If launched at 24 KM altitude, it’d probably burn to mach 2.6 then slow down to 1370 kph at 12km and 1260 kph at .2km
The brochure has the same speeds listed
400m/s is 1440 kph
350m/s is 1260 kph
Do you know what average speed is?
It takes the missile around 70 seconds to reach 30km, which puts the average speed to about 1540km/h, that is when using your launch parameters.
It should be between 350m/s (1260kph) to 400m/s 1440kph
I ask again. Do you know what average speed is and that average speed depends on maximum launch range?
At 12000M launched at 450ms from the plane
the average speed of the missile is 400ms
There should be a maximum missile release speed of mach 1.3 for all planes too
Don’t you think it’s odd that the missile only loses 50m/s of average speed when launched at only 200m of altitude at almost a standstill vs at 450m/s at 12000m of altitude ?
No, air resistance. That’s why it takes 1000hp to reach 250mph in a car vs 500hp to reach 200mph
At 12000M launched at 450ms from the plane
the average speed of the missile is 400ms
The average speed in game with those parameters is 800 m/s…
(At max range of 40km its 749 m/s)
Yes, air at 12000m is much thinner than at 200m + the difference in launch speeds is more than 400m/s lol.
