The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

Yeah,
they probably just made the seeker sensitivity and contrast up

Values you would not be able to get without the seeker

Uh? My man there is nothing in that green circle, it’s literally the edge of the missile glass. You will never be able to discern any features of the seeker from that far away lmao.

I didn’t make the comparison picture I was just too lazy to scroll up and find the actual picture of the Kh38mt at the maks expo

Thats… not at all what i meant.
Its what apparently looks like bare unpainted metal around the seeker-head that throws me off of declaring this a real MT picture

Maybe its one of these

the 38mt has a bare metal ring around the seeker, it isnt as wide as the one on the 38ml tho

Yes thats what im trying to say too.
The image with the missile mounted also seems to have a larger bare unpainted metal ring as well as a smaller ring.

Either that or its a whole different seeker-head photoshopped onto it since the larger ring extends all the way to the mounting rails start

Yeah kinda looks like a photoshop

Explain why it isn’t sufficient. Saying that you feel like it isn’t sufficient doesn’t hold any weight lmao.

Also the tail of the one of the right has a weird shape, it looks like it’s bent somehow.

Where did Gaijin get it’s 750 M/S if it’s clearly showing 350-400M/S in the brochure?

Good question lol. Even in the “new” brochure with seeker details it’s at ~380m/s.

Basically all the Russian AGMs are overperforming lol

Where’s the proof? Other than some propaganda photos in a brochure? Lol the KH25ML sure theres proof of those. Its hard to believe anything from Russia considering its mostly propaganda at this point. Su57, Hypersonics etc etc

bug report

  • Not a bug, brochure does not contain enough information

Just want to point out this means nothing by itself. I for example have a ADATS Mk. 3 brochure with most of the data.
Mk. 3 never existed.

No. Whataboutism is about unequal example we talking about performance of 2 missiles and i showed another example of 2 missiles this is not whataboutism. Don’t hide your double standarts behind fallacy that you don’t understand.

AIM-9L was added in update 1.85 for AH-1Z December 2018 Update 1.85 “Supersonic” - Changelog - Updates - Game - War Thunder

8 9M120 was exchanged for 4 9M39 in Mi-35M update 1.91 September 2019 War Thunder 1.91 "Night Vision" - Changelog - Updates - Game - War Thunder

AIM-9M was added for AH-1Z in update 2.23 September 2023 War Thunder "Sons of Attila" - Changelog - Updates - Game - War Thunder

So yes i have no clue how AIM-9M on AH-1Z performed in 2018/19 i know how Igla performed in 2019 and it was definetly worse than AIM-9L and Mi-35M never carried 8 Iglas.

And i doubt that some one would compare Igla to AIM-9L because some thing much worse will be added after one month

Average flight speed = max speed?

You might give them a picture with that as well, so there’s the maximum chance they’ll understand. To me this looks like an average speed of M1.1 over the maximum range.

I guess confirmation bias is such a strong phenomenon that it makes people lose the ability to read and understand plain English.

This doesn’t seem to be case though. Check the colors in the rectangle I drawn, it appears that the colors are pretty much unified until the smaller metallic ring is reached right around the seeker.
Even in this low quality picture, that smaller metallic ring is sticking out as a sore thumb, while the bigger ring which is made out of the same material can’t be seen at all.
