The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

what would this mean then
@MythicPi

hmm i mean it is installed on an aircraft
but
idk if its mockups or actual missiles
i mean MTE is export model after all

What’s the issue with that ?

because its a brochure and on the picture of the aircraft i see what looks like rope that is tied onto the hardpoint rail
so the authenticity is ? but then im not sure
and its still a brochure anyway
so thermal generation, zoom lenses, capability is still unknown

hardly, its not a very balanced metric to go by.

Having watched them all , theres a massive distinction.

So in almost every single game theres a SU30 in it.

However, there is substantially less games with EF2000 or the other platforms within them.
To boot, these platforms did more in the games they were in.
Prime examples being EF2000, however as the 2 models in the F2000A and EF2000 scored 14 kills and each one only shows up once, the F2000 in one game and the Ef2000 if I recall correctly inanother couple.
EDIT: Meant to say the F2000A shows up once and the EF2000 twice, or three times.

in 2 games they score over half the kills of the su30 out of 22-

So yeah the su30 aint all that and it is not rinsing entire lobbies like folks claim

Statistically speaking, the su30 has scored almost a 1 kill per match, “if not a bit less” as its 21 kills.

However, this doesn’t change my opinion of hte KH38MT should still be removed.

EDIT: @RoyallCSGO Can you also, you know, not stalk my acc xD watching at least 22 of my replies is extremely strange and off putting.

Isn’t this technically evidence of it existing ?

Those ropes are actually straps that the crew probably used to lift the missile into the mounting racks. But yeah, seeker capabilities are still unknown. That brochure is still a great find, however, but we have to verify whether it’s real or not.

Looks more like an MLE (the picture that’s shown on the Su-34). Seeker points forwards, and if my eyes don’t deceive me, it has the same silver “outline” next to the seeker, which the MLE is shown to have. Would also make sense as the ML is known to be used, which the same cannot be said to the MT/MTE

This is from the same guy who posted this. In the end that is just my view.

i mean
it looks close
but im still not sure

Which is why IR seekers in the game work in the same way.

@An_Pigeon
Maybe, if they don’t give out export brochures for not yet built stuff which might them years to finish.

maybe not for 38MT(IOG)

RU is known to try sell export unfinished model (su-57, but that thing flown already)
38MT domestic is unknown, so 38MTE export is unlikely but then there isnt anything new

IR seekers work the same, but that cannot be said for zoom and thermal generation, which is not known on the X-38MTE. For all we know it could be a fixed zoom with a narrow field of view like on the LMUR missile.

Unfinished models that flew already.

Export is there which could imply domestic is a thing.
Even if it isn’t, using export missiles isn’t a problem.

Which is why Gaijin is guesstimating things for the unknown bits.

what i said

the thing is that you cannot do export when the actual domestic model isnt done
you dont, export first domestic later, if thats the case then its a scummy scam which im pretty sure RU would know it
but then seekers, compatibility and capability is again, unknown
but given that it installed on the su-34 then su-34 sure have it
just not su-30sm since i dont see any kh-38 being installed on it

The automotive world has no bearing on plane additions to WT.

Unfortunately for you, the armed Kikka is still more real than the 38MT since the guns in it actually existed - assuming of course that no guns were ever fitted to one of the many Kikkas built, which I find unlikely given that Japan was still putting together aircraft until the very end of the war.

On top of all this, we actually know what the Kikka’s guns are supposed to perform like - not the case with the 38MT’s seeker which we know nothing about and likely doesn’t even exist.

So despite your many tries to equate the fictional 38MT with some other plane, it’s completely different. Even the paper F-16AJ is more real than the 38MT.

It isn’t.

Based on what, though? Russia doesn’t even have the ability to produce high quality thermals anymore, since the sanctions have hampered their ability to source them. If the best they can do is produce cheap copies or source Chinese ones and LMUR is their best IR AGM, why not base it on that?

Why does it have to have 3rd gen thermals and 25x optics if the intended targets are factories/warehouses and ships? It’s an overly generous estimate that makes no sense in a real life setting. I doubt such an overkill system would be used against armored targets.

Which is why that implies the domestic model is actually done.

Many things are an unknown in this game, but they are still in the game.

30SM is fine without it.

Based on the in-game needs ?

the second one is photoshopped but references is good

given RU again
they try to sell export before domestic is done, multiple time
and where is proof that domestic is done?
you cannot use an export brochure to justified that domestic is done when all “domestic” has is also a brochure and mockups
