The liquid explosive rocket was FAR MORE of a problem than the IR agm ever was, because you could first spawn the Mi-28NM or the Ka-52 and win the game by flying multiple helicopters loaded with one shot rockets, launching them from long range with the ballistic computer, also the DF rockets would fuse your spaa rocket (was possible to do that with SKO too) denying you from literally even shooting them down lmao.
That was game breaking, along with Ka-50’s first spawn with atgms back around its release, so, given that this is not game breaking, I think devs won’t need to take action, not even if you proved that something didn’t exist, or was made only into a mockup.

To justify waiting this long - until AFTER the Rafale and EFT and who knows what else have been added, under the justification that “it would have been too strong” - the F-2 would need an incredibly strong and unrealistically good radar to make this wait make sense.
Because at this point even a cracked FM (that it won’t have LOL) isn’t that relevant anymore since at top tier you’ll get the vast majority of your kills from very far away with missiles. Missiles that it also can’t carry that many of, and it doesn’t have a HMD either!.
At most it can carry 8x AAM-4s, but it’s never been pictured with this loadout and I believe we only know this because the pylons in question have the labels and connection points for AAM-4s as well.
The most it’s been seen with is 4x AAM-4s and 4x AAM-3s and that is likely what we’re getting. And you KNOW that thing is going straight to 14.0 and it’s not moving down ever.
So again, why has it taken this long for the F-2 to be added when even with the most generous loadouts possible, it’s still completely sidelined by aircraft added 1-4 major updates ago?
Gaijin just did a massive mistake with the AESA of the Rafale. IMO they didn’t even wanted to add AESA get. Also i don’t even think gaijin will go down the Rabbit hole of AESA GaAs/GaN and T/M count.
if they do it based on generation, they can use rough estimate of T/R modules to scale power and range. Rafale’s RBE2 and the Kfir’s radar should be among the absolute weakest

Well stinger FIM-92K had a better IR lock range than Strela when it was added but i don’t think that you will say that Stinger is better than Strela even back then and to carry 8 iglas on Mi-35M you need to drop 16 ATGM missiles which is a big sacrifice for 9.8 G AA missile

I want as much unique content as possible, so long as it doesn’t compromise the realistic modelling of things.
I’m far happier having napkin vehicles with plausible realistic modelling and mechanics than I am seeing the 20th Leopard 2 duplicate.

It’s already causing problems where there are post-cold war technology gaps.
The only solution is to scour the Internet for proposals, napkins, designs etc and conform them to the mechanical and modelling realism of the game.
As it stands, Kh-38MT may be a good example because it is only referred to on paper and no genuine copy has been certified to exist. However, nobody informed would consider it impossible to exist.
I think that’s a much better standard than is the case for most equipment.
The issue is with the Kh38MT is if we can’t prove its real or not it really shouldn’t of been added to the game.
Genuinely something that buggers me off TBH, like the Shir 2 getting L23, a round that the tank never fired at all.

the games mix and match response to “balance” is just stupid at this point, KH38’s aren’t dominating entire lobbies like folks want you to think, I’ve played nearly exclusively top tier the past week and a half and seen F15’s or Rafales rinse lobbies more then Su30’s or Su34s.
(caveat I actually have shot down more SU30s in my J8B than anyother plane so it just goes to show, the pilots aren’t very smart and its easily countered if someone spawns a plane)

Look at the mig29 at 12.7, it shouldn’t have the R27ERs and should have R73s, yet it sits their with a random A historical loadout.
Realistically it should have it, especially now if theyre claiming theyre going to add a prototype leclerc to france, which will be sittin on its own at a random BR

think the biggest issue here now is the complete silence on their part TBH; whatever they say though is gonna get a blowback from one group or another.
Like if they say tis fine in game to balance Su34 etc, there will be a load of people cry its in the game etc etc
if they say they’ll remove it then a bunch of folks will cry its bein gremoved then demand more be removed.
As you well know, i personally believe all these platforms at top tier are just too much for GRB, rafale, su30,F15, etc etc, hell even F16C was absolutely stompin before they added these even more modern platforms.
