My opinion is the tornado should perhaps get 9, before mitigation. But the typhoon would be fine with 6 + PW4s or GPS spear3s.
But a form of mitigation I want is increasing SP cost after a certain amount. So that you could take more, but would just be more expensive. Then has the advantage of not limiting loadouts in other gamemodes or making awkward loadout restrictions when making loadouts
at that point gaijin is limiting the EFT not for balance but because they dont like the idea of us having better CAS then russia, because that is the balanced thing to do yet here we are
I don’t want a method of limitation that prevents the full load being taken in gamemodes like ASB. That would suck.

I would agree if that wasn’t incredibly easy to abuse look how easy it is to get an SU30SM with 6 MTs assuming it cost similar for just 6 it wouldnt be very hard to get to 12 or 18 and if they cost exponentially more then there just wouldn’t be a point

but why pay an increased cost for the FnF extra brimstones when you could just take PW4s or SAL which with how the current SP system works wouldn’t increase the cost at all (its currently based off of the most expensive weapon on the plane not the over all cost)

At least Brims have heat warheads, which get no guaranteed kills. Unlike Kh-38MT, with its large yield HE warhead. They’re like a 500lb bomb with guaranteed kill radius and 100m splash damagte. Also Brims have no IOG, smoke and your’e fine.
At the end 18 Brims would never be as powerful as 6 KH-38MT, which are basically cruise missiles.
Because that’s the point of the mitigation. 6x Brimstone 2 with MMW would be better than 6x KH38MT.
Having even 9 would be OP.
6x MMW Brimstone 2s + 12x GPS-only spear3s would not be a loadout to scoff at.
