How do people which claim this as an argument not understand that this is not the same.
Brimstones on the eurofighter work very well because it’s nimble and has good acceleration. Enough to to avoid every SPAA, the only real danger to it are unflarable IR sams like strela or type 81.
Everybody who knows how to play EF clowns on pantsirs with brimstones.
The ML’s range is usable as long as there is no other plane, you are a sitting duck and have to guide for 40-50 seconds if you want to utilize the range. All it takes is one radar missile and you have to abort or die.
ML is not a replacement for MT.
Thats how laser guided Paveways and Brimstones on our EF’s and Nados work as well. Get used to it, I’d suggest. Look, maintain the lock, guide for a lengthy time and pray no one is going for ouy when you’re a sitting duck (lazing).
No reason why russian players should enjoy stuff like the KH-38MT. The ML version is already better than any Brimstone or Paveway. For F&F you could use KH-29 tv as Maverick pendant. This thing needs to be fired from closer ranges and has no IOG, means will also behave like a Mav and would be fine.
Theres no reason to make the KH-38MT mockup real and to break the game with it.
As stated before, i don’t really care if it stays or not, but ML is not a replacement.
As paveway maybe, defenitely not as brimstones. But you statcard readers wont understand.
No, because most russian planes don’t get a thermal pod and the lock range of KH-29 is abysmal.
Unless we move them down massively in BR’s, sure, then i don’t care.
Some nations lack stuff, that’s a fact of life. You don’t see Britain having FnF ground weapons because they don’t use them.
Just because a nation lacks a capability is not an excuse for adding a fictional weapon to the game, especially one which is as egregious as the kh-38mt.
@Thodin@Ghost_of_TelAviv
Both ML and Brim/PV operate the exact same way. You can either launch them and guide all the time, or you can launch them in IOG(or free fall if its a early paveway) and guide in terminal phase.
Bundeswehr seems to like Eurospikes, they use it everywhere. Foot soldiers, Wiesels, Marders (remaining ones got coverted), Puma and H145M test beds.
Just wounder why, cause ingame they’re really hard to use and I’d use TOW-2A over Spike any time. I guess reasons are similar to the fact that the 38MT is the most powerful weapon system ingame.
It is what Rus has. Just because its the top of russian F&F AG weapons, it doesn’t justify the addition of fantasy ordnance. Many nations have gaps and they have to deal with these issues.
“What you see is what I have” Hmm which movie was it actually? Anyways, alot truth in this statement.
So the 38MT defenders have now moved on from “b-but it surely exists!” and “b-but your airframes are better!!” to “it’s fine for Russia to have this, they suffer otherwise!” I see?
Glad the mask’s off and they’re just showing their bias :)
