The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

if they add the F-2A and then remove the AJ or replace the F-16AJ with the XF-2A (the F-2A Prototype with the ADTW Unit)

would be pretty nice. Let the zov’s cry, they are already spoilt enough

You don’t know them well enough.

Hm if even smin can’t say anything about it
Something is very very wrong with Gaijin now.

All of them with SACLOS missiles ?

Let’s just ignore the IOG and like the double range of locking up moving targets.

Just ignore Motorola. He’s here to derail and argue that russia suffers and needs a fake weapon cus Kh-38ML and other weapons are “too bad” :"D

Yeah it’s been noticed two weeks ago.

mainly cus im board and its fun watching them do mental gymnastics to try and claim that both it would be to OP to buff western CAS to be the same as russia but it wouldnt be fair to nerf russian CAS

yup. Still no proof and people still people going off topic

With unfinished prototypes, japan has at least 2 other high tier jets left. The F-16AJ should still be removed and replaced.

other than the tons of finished/unfinished prototypes, missing service/production vehicles, potential subtrees (ASEAN / Thailand) ASM/A2G Armament, etc.

Then so is AGM-65

The thread is now the most talked about topic about the Kh-38 on the internet, looks like this thread has successfully debunked this missile. (This is an incognito window, so it’s an honest to God search pull)

Yet devs still decide to ignore.

😑

All i m saying is that japan has almost nothing left to add

A bit is a key word. But srsly how much vehicles are left for thier top tier? 3? 4?

Doesnt appear so.

By all accounts it was intitially marketed alongside the other variants of the KH-38, but seems to have never gone past the mock-up stage with no evidence of it being tested.

There are a number of reason why this could have happened and is not uncommon for weapon systesm early in development to be scrapped because of lack of interest.

The KH-38MT is no longer marketed anywhere it seems which further reinforces this idea it never made it off the ground.

But in a world where buddy lasing exists. KH-38ML would probably be the versatile and useful weapon system anyway, able to target a wider range of targets (well, basically any target) where IR would be rather limited
