if u ever so think it exist then prove it
which u wont and u cant and u would derail the thread again
Your post is contributing a lot in the search for sources that indicate if the KH-38MT is real or not. Complaining about derailing, antagonizing and disrupting while doing exactly that is pretty rich.
The vast majority of posts aren’t claiming the “KH-38MT is definitely real”, the discussions have mostly been about balance and weapon systems in general. If this thread was limited to on topic posts dedicated to finding sources of how real the KH-38MT is it’d have less than a hundred posts. Your criticism about who’s responsible for most off topic posts is incredibly one sided. You can probably find ten “the KH-38MT ruins top tier” complaints for every post actually claiming that the thing is real and should stay because of that.
Also “they should just provide sources” is far too simplistic unless you think someone is just sitting on those. It takes time for word of mouth to get around to people that might actually have said information (especially since a pretty significant language barrier is involved here), or to request information from third parties, or to request documents from archives and so on. People have been going over the Begleitpanzer for a good four years or so at this point. It’s not a fast process.
Hey! Here’s one now.
Then what in the WORLD are you doing if not the same exact thing? By your own definition, you’re a hypocrite.
I pointed out your double standard. It’s also just off topic, while your post I replied to is derailing and antagonizing on top of that.
so is kh-38mt is not real yes?
why dont you just remove their posts and dm them or something instead of posting “stay on topic” once every 50 posts that no one reads
gaijin reaction when? proof or delete this wunderwaffe
if I understand what TheKnightOfZero said
Then I think we should make a new forum in the correct area laying out our (lack of) findings on the existence of this missile?
But idk where that would be.
so question if pretty much no one can find any evidence of this thing being tested or even fitted to any of the planes in game isnt that not proof it doesnt exist?
its impossible to prove its existence because there is no public photos of it and anyone who can prove it exists is 100% unable to because its confidential
“Proving” a negative is extremely difficult, especially as we have no idea what sources the devs may or may not have.
What is probably need is Content creator involvement and a tech mod or 2 to format this in a gaijin friendly way and submit it internally. After that, we just have to wait.
As we have seen plenty of times before. The devs can choose to just ignore sources or lack of sources to make changes they deem necessary (looking at the aluminium back plates for the CR2 for example)
AGMs don’t have a BR of their own, so balancing things like these without looking at the full picture is practically impossible.
@WalletWarrior69
That’s not how the game works.
yeah which so far only tech has looked at this kinda surprised more content creators havent looked at this, I know hunter doesnt really talk about controversies but considering its to do with top tier CAS kinda surprised he hasnt talked about this
The reason no photos of the KH-38MT exist is because i eated them all.
then you must be an expert in things that dont exist because “eated” doesnt either
The explosive mass is way enough and doesn’t make it 30% of it’s capability.
Ah so now all of a sudden we have to count in other stuff then solely the weapon ?
You can bring one rafale, which still flies better then the 30 and 34 combined.
fair enough i realize it, would make sense to be 50 or 60% or so
this is where you factor the enviroment stuff, rafale flies better than su30/34 but given that there are always atleast 2-3 30/34 base on the current top tier situation and given that pantsir has a general impact on CAS on RU side it would make rafale has much less impact
and popularity also factor in since not alot have rafales and there are more su-xx than rafale
The range at which it can realistically acquire a target is probably less than a third of the current ingame limit for IIR seekers. It’s going to do more than just scan a fixed, very small point in the center of its FoV realistically, otherwise it would be completely useless in real life. But that’s how IIR AGMs currently behave in game.
A SALH Brimstone II would already be a big upgrade, there’s not really any need to make up an IIR seeker on top of that. Just add the IIR SPEAR 3 for that, if it exists already. Which I think it does.
It always sounds like “we need this im game now” though, which just doesn’t match with how this game has progressed for the last decade. I doubt you’ll find many people that have anything against these future upgrade paths.
Personally it also rubs me the wrong way because people are often asking for upgrades/fixes for extremely capable platforms while pretending that these don’t work well in their current state. Not that you’re really doing that right now, but take the Typhoon as example. Sure, the radar isn’t great currently, but overall it is still an amazingly performant plane and battles with the Rafale and the F-15E for the best top tier plane.
Which is all im asking for, SAL Brimstone 2 as an equal to the KH-38MT.
Spear-3 IIR seeker is an unknown. Primary sources dont state it, but secondary sources suggest it. But its unclear if they are confusing the listed “multi-mode seeker” as having one because similar US weapons listed with the same have all 3, like the JAGM-ER.
In any case, even just GPS-Only Spear-3 would be more workable than nothing at all. Especially in gamemodes other than GRB (Shocker I know, there are other gamemodes than just GRB)
If KH-38MT is too remain, then equivalent AGMs need to be added to the other 8 nations.
Im straight up not playing it at all at the moment because the state of the radar is infuriating in ASB.
I spend more time babysitting the radar than I do actaully flying the damn thing
I wasn’t aware of that. Either way, if we’re keeping the KH-38MT and the AASM SBU64 in their current states an IIR SPEAR 3 would be less of a reach than giving a Brimstone a seeker in never had, so I’d prefer that route.
Hm, yeah, maybe it is more of a problem in SIM, I can’t play that. We were mostly talking about GRB here, and in that mode it is extremely opressive, even with the current state of the radar.
