Its kind of annoying to research, cuz you end up looking at the same images over and over and over across different websites for hours. And if the news articles or blog posts have any sources, you follow them enough and they all link back to the KTRV/ROE catalogue entries.
So you end up just going in circles for hours/days, with the occaisional picture of the same mockups, just from a different angle 😅

tried for a little bit but im going to be honest i had a gut feeling it wasnt real the whole time i was searching
whole thing just felt off, there was no news at all about IR seeker tests for it
yeah I didnt have the patience to look for more than a couple hours with how repetitive it was
Well i saw the brochures and the mock-up and was like ok. Something could be there. It’s not like it is unreasonable to think they could build an IIR seeker I knew no shot it was anything like the seeker in game even if it were real the model in game is definitely over preforming in quality seeker optics.
If it was real Gaijin would have come here or make a statement to prove it on our face by now
But they seem fall silent
I suspect that they just waiting to this thread to die down
or just ignore it on purpose because don’t wanna face humiliation and backlash.
it would make sense to announce tests for potential customers though.

literally the only mention I have seen for testing was from some random blog linked here and it said they hadnt finished testing but gave an expected date
that easily coudlve been for the overall Kh-38M family, some of which do exist
iirc it did specify MT but did not seem reliable at all
I didn’t see anything list MT in specific for testing other than just forum user word. Not anything from a document or news source.
I don’t think Gaijin works like that.
They’ve denied many vehicles for being fictional or because they lacked evidence, but they still ended up adding fake vehicles when they seem fit.
