The Kh-38MT may not actually exist

The -9E, -9J and most subsequently derived export variants use a Peltier cooler.

This fits the requirements as specified, yes? 20K USD for the seeker and guidance section, the rest of the missile is government furnished (~2,800 USD). And so is effectively free since it’s already been bought, not that it would be anywhere near that expensive considering that production has been intermittent for almost 45 years now (FR-IP started 1981).

So, where do the upsides lie for other nations?

Well you see, Russia gets the best SPAA, the best attack helicopter, the best (potentially fictional) ASM’s, the best air to ground lineup, and the best light tanks/IFV’s to make all the air assets easy to spawn.

The other nations in exchange get to be the glorious targets for RU players to abuse in ground battles :)

Asymmetric balance is the KH-38ML:
You trade getting the best performance in every category for having to guide it against moving targets.

Unbalanced is the KH-38MT:
You trade nothing and get everything.

See how that works?

lol.

Dude, if all this drama is just because you can’t handle fighting Soviet tech, maybe try different tactics. Unlike you, actual Russian players never whined to the devs about nerfing American vehicles on the forums. As an ASB player, I couldn’t care less about the X-38 missile, but I can’t help laughing every time English-speaking players throw another tantrum the moment any weapon outperforms their domestic favorites.

X-38 is from late 2010s gng. Ka-52 entered service 2011, T-90M is late 2010s, so is T-80BVM. Su-30SM is from 2013

It is most definitely not Soviet tech ppl are fighting anymore

Funny, reminds me of the whole F-14 story in Sim Battles)

A false flag. How do you even hope for an objective discussion of anything if you’re trying to hide objectionable posts?

F-14 bad IR missiles, AIM-54 is skill check at best, AWG-9 is a shell of its true self, engines hotter than sun, mediocre CM count on the A models, no GEN-X, no AIM-9M, no 9L on A model, no RIO modeled

Kh-38MT has great seeker, great range, unmatched speed, IOG, and 2 solid launch platforms with a third mediocre one

The Su-30 is still a modification of the Su-27 from the 1970s-80s.

Stop talking nonsense. NATO aircraft had been farming easy wins in top-tier matches for over a year. Even the addition of the Su-30 didn’t really shift the balance. But it gave Red Team players something crucial—a usable radar. And oh boy, the meltdown began…

Players who’d gotten used to pressing a single key on their keyboard suddenly faced an insurmountable obstacle—now someone could actually detect them and fire back. How unfair! And the same injustice awaits them on the ground, because now Red Team finally has weapons that can kill tanks, while Blue Team has had an entire arsenal of such tools for ages—plus those sweet targeting pods.

All other Soviet fighters at its BR fly with the R-60M, which is significantly worse than the AIM-9L. Are you joking, or do you just not understand the game, or are you trying to pass off wishful thinking as reality?

Also, I remember the times when the F-14 was 0.3 BR higher than all other third-generation fighters, yet anyone on the English-speaking forum tried to prove how ‘weak’ and ‘useless’ it actually was—while anyone who argued otherwise got mocked. So, how should we treat threads like this on this forum? As a genuine discussion about a real issue, or as a thread made just to make life easier for one side?

They actually did, quite a bit.

Yeah I don’t know where this guy is pulling his info, the main reason the TOW-2B is hot garbage is because the Russian community winged critically hard because it was popping T series tanks left and right, so gaijin promptly nerfed it into the ground.

There area myriad of other examples outside of US vehicles of this occurring as well.

F-14A has AIM-9H or P

I distinctively remember when 2A7V got added most russian players nearly had a stroke claimimg that now when they cant point-and-click Leo 2 hull, game is unbalanced.

They still complain about aim-120, even after getting r-77-1

You do get that Gaijin has been sitting on various accepted reports that would significantly improve the performance of a multitude of characteristics across a broad range of relevant stores, yes?

FIM-92
AGM-65
AIM-9
AIM-120

This isn’t even all of them, only the ones I had to hand, and am keeping track personally. It should be self evident that historic reports are used to “supplement” balancing, to allow for performance adjustments to occur outside the regular balancing passes. Not as a first-in, first-out Triaged queuing system like one would expect with a properly functioning reporting scheme in most cases.

Just take for example the following report

A10C Targeting Pod does not allow for 6x AGM-65 Load out

“Not a bug.
These are inert AGM-65s (blue strips around missile), combat AGM-65s loaded on the LAU-88 cannot be hung next to the LITENING in order to avoid damage the optics by engine flame.”

Where pictorial evidence was refused, because of all things they were inert, which is far greater evidence of it being possible then a mockup, but well that’s what we get.

Further many aircraft are missing targeting pods (e.g. US F-4E / F-16A), and they could in effect appear as low as ~8.0 (possibly lower if the ALD was modeled, but as it was hand held it’s unlikely ) with the addition of the B-75G Tropic Moon III, to the B-57B, the first such aircraft to be capable of self-designation for laser guided PGMs / cannons (program, “PAVE GAT”, a laser directed M197).

press x to doubt. russian players in general don’t seem to complain more nor less than others, and some sure didn’t appreciate when i spawn camped their doom machine (KH slinger) with AAMs in ground RB, while they had R-77-1 on their own.

A weapon that doesn’t exist, might i add
