Something has to be done about those malicious fake reports. It only takes a few seething posters to impose what looks like a quasi-control over what is posted.
??? There’s a difference between a vehicle and a modification. Bro they’re literally different words how do you not know this?
The E100 had a hull laid down which is enough, The Maus had a prototype, and more importantly what I was responding to, the sturmtiger was a very real self propelled gun, lmao, like there’s literal images of it from WWII.
Over the last few days in this thread you have argued:
Publicly available information on government websites is classified
That WT forum mods lie for the point of keeping stuff in the game
Exactly quoting someone is making up words they never said
The abrams should be removed from the game
The T-95 does not actually exist
the sturmtiger doesn’t actually exist irl and is equivelent to the P.1000 Ratte
Please do research before saying anything.
maybe on the SU-25 if the plane is at max battle ratting but I strongly disagree about them being balanced on the SU-34, despite its shortcommings the Su-34 is still a supersonic plane with the ablility to pull a lot of AOA even with a CAS load, which coupled with r77 and r73 allows it to very effectivly defend itself against CAP while the KH38s allow it to safely strike ground targets from outside the effective range of AA
im sorry did you say panzer 4???
im curious about this one lol
Abram is fake, I haven’t been inside one so it doesnt exist
It was something about how “since we don’t know exact details about it’s armor since it’s classified it shouldn’t be in the game.” Man was trying to argue not knowing the exact specifics about an armor layout is just as bad as not knowing if a missile even exists or not in terms of accuracy.
Been confused about that as well. Best explanation I have for that is that the RU version of the website is the updated one, while the english one is still basically a cope of the old online catalogue entry.
I can’t guarantee that, but the EN version of the site is basically a copy paste of the words seen on the site over the last 10 years while the RU one is much more recent.
Maybe we could try to find older versions of the site on some web archive to see if the english page tends to be out of date or not?
we have looked and iirc the russian one used to say similar stuff to the english one but has been updated with it removed
Solid suggestion, so I looked through it and here’s what I found:
Archived Russian version of ROE Kh-38MLE catalogue entry:
Last archived version of the Russian webpage mentioning all 4 guidance options (MAE, MKE, MLE, MTE) in December 2020:
Авиационная модульная управляемая ракета малой дальности Х-38МЛЭ | Каталог Рособоронэкспорт
First archived version of the Russian webpage with only the SALH guidance option (MLE) March 2021:
Авиационная модульная управляемая ракета малой дальности Х-38МЛЭ | Каталог Рособоронэкспорт
Archived English version of ROE Kh-38MLE catalogue entry:
Closest English archived version of the website to the last archived version of the Russian webpage mentioning all 4 guidance options (MAE, MKE, MLE, MTE) Oct 7th 2020:
Short-range guided modular missiles Kh-38MLE | Catalog Rosoboronexport
Closest English archived version of the website to the first archived version of the Russian webpage with only the SALH guidance option (MLE) October 1st 2021:
Short-range guided modular missiles Kh-38MLE | Catalog Rosoboronexport
As can be seen, the English webpage became outdated sometime between December 2020 and March 2021. The modern English version of the website with the blue look appears to just have copy pasted the info over from the outdated English webpage instead of adapting the webpage with the updated information.
Modern versions of the website for comparison to the archived versions:
RU version:
Х-38МЛЭ
In fact, through the entirety of the archived history of the English webpage, it has NEVER updated the information. The information was the same between June 2017 and January 2025.
Historical comparison of ROE's English Kh-38MLE webpage:
Short-range guided modular missiles Kh-38MLE | Catalog Rosoboronexport
Short-range guided modular missiles Kh-38MLE | Catalog Rosoboronexport
This is the last known archived version of the english website which did not use “Kh-38MLE” for the catalogue entry. As can be seen, the archived version is likely very broken and missing some key stuff, like all info in the “Basic Specifications” link, along with the actual image of the missile.
Mmm, yeah, honestly kinda what I expected but its good to have it confirmed.
So… one of the few pieces of “evidence” for it possibly existing is increasingly looking like its not accurate, really not looking good for the missile existing.
I appreciate the suggestion to look into it though. It was a bit of a hassle to do, but it did solidify the evidence against it imo, and solved something that was confusing me at the time
I’ve updated the original post with this new information, thanks :)
I’ll be off till evening, but I really suggest you looking at another thing for now.
Look at how and why this missle was implemented. Suggestions/sources.
I’m gonna be doing it myself and I have a strong feeling that it has something to do with one of the characters in this thread. I may be wrong though.
THAT’S JUST MY GUESS.
Afaik, the Kh-38MT was added to the game without any suggestion from players. I dont want this thread to devolve into pointing fingers or anything. I just want to discuss facts along with peoples opinions of the evidence provided and maybe a tad bit regarding the imbalance of the Kh-38MT in-game and the justification to keep such a broken ASM when considering the evidence at play.
honestly just give it and the hammer the IR nerf it deserves kek
the seeker is probably french in origin anyways
I made a quick sweep. And yea - haven’t been able to find any suggestions for it. I just was curious because I found his statement about kh-38 a long time ago on a russian forum. Doesn’t seem to be the case though. So it gets even better. They just pulled this missile out of where?
Another funny thing I’ve been able to find is a question of one user on russian forum. He was questioning the gen3 thermals thing. Because the manufacturer of a seeker (idk where they all got their information from, I’ll look into that later) only states the resolution of a final image, not the thermal matrix one.
Issue with that, the KH-38MT has nothing to do with Balance…
