All sources ive seen referring to Kh-38M use during thd conflict explicitly mention the Kh-38ML being the variant used, and/or state the targets are stationnary bridges.
The news articles do mention the MT as an option of the missile, but its always been in a paragraph explaining the missile and basicly just regurgitating the info from the brochures.
From what you’re saying, it sounds like thats what he’s referring as “evidence”. I’d love to actually be able to discuss those sources directly so as to not sound like I’m bending the info in my favour, but I understand the rules and wont.
If mods check a source and confirm it to actually have info confirming the use of the Kh-38MT that cant be posted on the forums, would it be possible to PM it to me for me to double check?

the US could get the AGM-53, which is basically a Kh-38 with TV guidance that was actually tested (although much older so idk about tracking capabilities)

I dont think its fair to state bias as a reason for the MT being mistakenly added into the game tbh.
The fact it exists on a brochure and there are 2-3 mockups in existence, along with the fact news articles havent always done a great job at seperating the actual info on Kh-38M(L) usage from just talking about the Kh-38M series in general is likely where confusion may have arisen.
On first glance, its reasonable to assume the thing is “real”. Its actually digging into the evidence that starts to paint a different picture imo.
Like I said before tho, id still assume/hope gaijin devs would put more effort into researching the existence of something before adding it into the game…
No there are multiple images of Kh-38M’s mounted on jets ready for combat, they just happen to be Kh-38ML’s, NOT MT’s.
Ppl have already tried posting those images in this thread before, they cant be posted cuz they are of an active conflict. They’re also irrelevant as evidence cuz they arent 38MT’s…

Both those are mockups.
Top one is an MLE, bottom one is a MAKS 2009 (from what ive been able to find) MTE from before the missiles even had the designator letters and the whole program was just the Kh-38M(E).
Nah the one I found was sitting on the ground, but it’s on the Gov.RU website, I can see the pre-image, but if I click on it, the site has some re-direct error, probably restricted access to the country I’m in? Idk. But I can’t open the page for whatever reason. So I’m going to assume it’s not postable.

I had this in mind as well, it could be a cheaper replica seeker that’s similar to the final product but gutted internally to just look the part “externally”. Honestly, we don’t have much information about it either (as far as I’m aware).
To be fair, this whole debacle has been going in circles for far too long, a developer response is due, the fact that a community effort of over a thousand replies hasn’t reached a conclusive answer as to the existence of the MT is concerning.
This game breaking missile was added with little to no evidence of purchase, testing or successful trials. We need answers.

Not even that. Someone just took a pic from it carrying it. The only time they have show Su-57 with missile was when they tested a missile launch from one of the bay.
Second case so far of it show doing something with missile…
FTR. Lmur IR seeker use the same Yellow glass thing. And that seeker has being used widely over the current conflict.

It’s still new enough that it’s more than likely classified if it was tested.
I knew it was probably an ML but I was getting fed up with him saying he has sources but cant post them and that the sources he had proved something after the mod confirmed they didnt
