I think it was referenced in some gov website or document as well

this whole thread is a nothingburger

i dont see why we should take it to the dms when we arent off-topic as well

if youve only made like a handful of them you just use them for whatever

mockups to show a potential weapon system still need to look realistic to push investment

and how can you tell that its totally legit from some low-fi photgraphs. We cant prove or disprove from only photos unless its very blatant.

Its just going in circles though

might have something to do with nobody finding any evidence that KH-38MT existed as anything more than an expo mockup

want to repeat the whole discussion again dont you?

just point him 100 mesages up and tell him to read the whole thing again

It might be more sophisticated than a wooden or plastic one but it still ultimately falls under the definition of a mockup.

As others have already mentioned this is done to produce something more tangible for investors which is espcially the case for an Export product inorder to encourage orders.

find some actual concrete proof that it was ever mounted and tested on an aircraft, then have a conversation
rn you are talking about capacitors and pcbs

you mean this whole 1250 reply thread where there hasnt been any evidence that wasnt in the initial post other than a single photo from an expo that shows what might be a prototype seeker inside of a mockup missile?

every single one of us talking in this thread is quite literally clutching at straws due to the severe lack of information on this pretty likley to be fake or extremley low preduction missile.

the lack of information limits the ability to prove or debunk its actual existence and therefore things will loop until one of you gives up or starts insulting the other to which a forum janny will purge the thread

would be for the better tbh, i think the entire discussion has been over for like 500 posts already

The kh-38MT is real, I have it in my attic

This is ultimately what is needed for the MT to with reason stay in its current state.
Otherwise the options are:

  1. Nerf its tracking on moving targets (like the hammer) as the brochure suggests that this was its intended usecase

  2. Just remove it, most weaponry (note not vehicles) meet the threshold of testing which so far cannot be said for sure for the MT.

yall are looking at this

and telling us that the “lens” isnt just a reflection in the glass

banger of a first post on the forum ngl

welcome to the braincell killer of a website that is the WT forums

Facts.
Someone says: “But this (insert brochure or website) says it’s real!”
Then everyone else says: “something that has been 500 times already

inert pieces are technically mockups, plus theres no proof it is even functional
