I am not saying it is bad at all it is just that, I think it has a harder time to compete at 11.0
close there are small differences, in short:
added chaff and flare dispencers
added canards (hence name) for better low speed performance
it was upgrading the airframe too c.2 standard but not much else
but it very clearly can compete? my k/d isnt the best in it cause i wasnt that great when i started the israel grind but mine is still positive.
thank you for that information :)
np :)
Can the Canard really only hold 2 air to air missiles at a time?
yes
So what you are saying is that it should hold up to 4 air to air missiles
no? i just said yes to the fact it can only carry 2?
thats not the kfir canard. iys eather the kfir c.7 or c.10 mpst likely the c.10
that is a Kfir C.7
Did you use it as B-17 💀
In Israeli service, Kfir C.1s were mostly retired by the time the Python III was in widespread usage. There have been a few cases of Kfir RC.2s carrying AIM-9Ls, and as far as I know all the Kfirs had compatibility with the LAU-7 launch rail, however I don’t think that would be enough to even hint at the Kfir C.1 being able to get AIM-9L
I find it quite usable. You can take 2 drop tanks while carrying enough bombs to kill one base. After you bomb you have just the perfect amount of fuel to fight. You can then enter the fight at terrific speed and snipe 1 or 2 enemies with the AIM-9G.
Two drop tanks? If you mean the ones with the bomb load on the wing tips, they don’t give additional fuel last I checked, though it’s good that you’re happy with the aircraft’s performance nonetheless.
Yeah sadly those drop tanks arent considered drop tanks to gaijin, only the one slung under the fusalage is
Oh geez. I’ve certainly not noticed. In fact it’s hard to believe because supposedly I optimized my loadout very carefully, and ended up using the underbelly tank and one wing tank under the left wing with two bombs. I’ll check when I get home.
Edit: They indeed contain no fuel…
