The KFIR C10 should have the I-Derby ER considering its range

Kfir should have the I-Derby ER knowing that the Rafale has missiles like the Mica that can also carry 8 of them

no it doesn’t need them, the Kfir is not supposed to be on par with the Rafael, one of them is at 13.0 and the other is at 14.0, there’s supposed to be a difference, also in terms of range, the MICA is only slightly better than the derby

Why do you want the Kfir C10 to be a 14.0 aircraft?

Compare it to aircraft like the Sea Harrier FA2 or Viggen DI not the Rafale

It would go up to 13.3 at minimum (probably 13.7), so nah.

Not wrong increase BR to 14.0 because Kfir C.10 (Block 60) it’s the best 3rd gen fighter aircraft

Kfir C.10 Block 60 better JA37DI and Sea Harrier FA.2

Yeah inferior to 4.5 gen fighter aircraft

I hope gajin decompression max BR to 14.3 for 4.5 gen fighter aircraft someday

Kfir C.10 Block 60 better JA37DI and Sea Harrier FA.2

for sure, not 14.0 better than though, unless maybe it gets python 4s, but it would probably not be worth the BR increase, in it’s current state the thing is very fun

As the suggestor of the Kfir C.10, it should not get them (for now at least), as it would make it 14.0-15.0 or so due to the improved seeker and high range. It would be like having a 30km radius kill zone

The I-Derby ER has a range equivalent of the Aim-120C-5. It would be the furthest range ARH AAM in the game, and we aren’t ready for that just yet. In the mean time we can get the I-Derby (better seeker Derby) and Python 4. Someday well get the Python 5 and I-Derby ER, but we ain’t there yet.

Exactly, we ain’t ready for this yet. Too strong of a missile with insane range and amazing tracking (which ofc gaijin can soft nerf the seeker).

Come to think of it, do we even have any two stage missiles in the game? I don’t think they could even properly implement this missile yet…

I’d rather they test out Python 4s on the C10 platform with a module that also increases the BR to 13.3, just limit it to only 2 P4s. Pretty decent contrast against the missile busses which have 8-12 missiles total.

My understanding is the Derby and I-Derby are the exact same missiles, is it not?

I-Derby should have a better seeker, remember seeing that being said according to a Rafael brochure

No, it’s fine at 13.0. It doesn’t need moved up to 14.3.

okay, then let’s compare it with an aircraft of the same range, the SU 33 that can carry 8 radar missiles with incredible characteristics + 4 heat missiles, in total it can carry 12 missiles with very good characteristics and still it is at 13.0 why not give the KFIR an upgrade knowing that it can only carry 4 of them, Even if it could be considered Python 4?

The SU 33 is also at 13.0 it can carry 12 missiles, 8 of them are radar missiles, with good enough characteristics

And? The FA2 is subsonic, has a mechanical radar and no canon if it runs 4x AMRAAM and is the same BR as the Kfir C10.

The Kfir is a solid aircraft for the BR

I don’t think that would make them on par…

The Rafale has vastly better flight performance. It can carry twice the amount of ARH as well.

The Mirage 2000 also gets MICA’s and I don’t see it sitting at 14.0BR.

Thats more on the FA2 being the worst aircraft for its BR. Its abysmal, you make so many trades compared to the AV-8B+ yet youre the same BR. its the only fox 3 slinger that should be 12.7 (i would rather decompression but thats slow)

I didn’t say it would be 14.0 with upgraded missiles.my point was that theyre incomparable and anyway the Kfir C10 is great fun already I think, giving it a better missile and moving it up in BR would probably make it worse

Before we argue if it should get Derby ER or not, do we have definitive proof that it mounted them?

Yes, it used the I-Derby ER, I-Derby, Python 5, and Python 4 in Colombian service. In fact it never even used the Python 3.
