For me and most of my friends getting in a plane isnt as useful as playing a role on the ground, dont get me wrong air is a must for many BR’s and for dealing with players in certain positions but I just dont care, most planes/jets on sweden are either on br, .3 below or an entire br below the competition. This isnt unique to sweden but its most prevelent on starting isreal, sweden, and late tier japan. Seriously the T2 is not a good bomber imo lol
Now since you have such a opinion on sweden CAS what planes would you say you see the most often and how do they do against other air vehicles at their BR? I mean AJ37 and lansen? Have you played them?
Also Viggen currently should turn 14.2 degrees/sec, which is still overperforming. Clean Viggen at sea level with 40% fuel have turn rate of 14 deg/sec according to manual.which is on par with Phantom. 7G max overload at sea level aswell
What does the manual say?
SK60 for example is one of the best CAS planes on its BR with the Rb05s, same goes for SAAB-105 with ballistic computer at 8.3 which noone gets on so low BR. After that the AJ/AJS with rockets are quite useable,or if u want to use the two mavs on em. Lansen is bit eh,tho the bomb have very high yield. But then you get to Gripen A and C which are one of the best CAS platforms currently.

Would you say they are better fighter or purely CAS focused? I mean SK60 is kinda mid imo just due to it being a trainer, at 7.0 its pretty solid but it doesnt have a lineup to play with unless you wanna bring it to 7.7 , dont get me wrong its pretty solid for 7.0 but its definitely not gonna be my first choice for CAS or a fighter, id rather the j21RB. Now the saab 105 is very funny. Its not a good 8.3 fighter but it is definitely a 8.7 ground pounder so have you played it as a fighter how would you say it performs in the air meta? I mean recently not before, id say before it was a pretty competent fighter for 8.3 not really air focused but a solid option. Now id say its pretty mid for its br.
It gets airspawn and basically outturns everything that isnt Ki-200 or Me 163
Really man you must fight some really bad f-84 pilots cause i eat 105’s for breakfest in my f-84 id say the 105 has maybe high speed advantage but not low or mid speed ever lol (though thats if i ever see a swedish air player lmao) also F9F-8 is a brick but man i love outrunning Saabs that try to runaway. Also the 20mm slap on that definitely a fun plane if you havent tried it before.
Also you say its a good fighter but i dont really think youve played it, if you have maybe its like a few lucky matches but it doesnt turn well at high speeds and it compresses like hell at higher speeds, its definitely an 800-600km/h type energy fighter at best, honestly if it outurns a fighter at the BR id be pretty suprised lol. Its a solid groundpounder but for air its a bit under in performance personally.
The 105 is same plane as SK-60, with slightly more powerful engine.
And has the same downsides also the 105 weighs more iirc also the saab 105 is 8.3 not 7.0 so it fighter actual dedicated fighters, im just saying that isnt really a good point, its a trainer with great CAS and poor air to air it may seem better for fighter because its genuinely hard to lose speed because it doesnt turn lol.
If you think the FM change was erroneous, simply post the manual’s data and then the in-game test showing it doesn’t align.

Well cause it is a major modified version, it features a double delta wing, so it is a lot better at speed retention. It does have a ‘radar’, but it’s a radar range finder.
I don’t even get why J7E at 11.0 in sim, I don’t even know where the enemy at, plus, there are quite a lot of MIG21 at this BR, how do I know which one is friendly? It’s so hard to distinguish different MIG21s from appearence.
