Depends on the F model, to my knowledge the first model only had the upgrades for 2 pylons for Sarh and the more common later model would have the added weight from the modifications to hold all aspects. It a general question because the F should have a limit set to prevent pilots from turning to hard and breaking the vehicle. Theres more than enough events in which pilots pulled harder than they should’ve and put stress on the aircraft. Im more curious as to whether the F’s manual is under the same restrictions for turning as the XS. Also id like to know the difference in weight, general curiosity.
So the F1, which is lighter than the F2, but still heavier than D.
The J35F’s combat weight with full fuel is 10024kg.
I set the J35XS mass to ~10050kg when I was testing the FM.
35XS is a F2, which is heavier…
Seems strange that the XS would weigh more, what source was used for the weight of the XS i wonder. Again its strange that the XS weighs more than the F despite the F having more avionics and general additions to the pylons. I cant imagine them being so similar in weight without something else being the main difference for weight, especially since the
Second gun was removed for the IRST module.
Additionally almost all J35’s reach the same speed in a straight line despite them all having different weights and engine values. That may have been changed but i remember someone talking about this, ill have to find it again.
Could you possibly post those here for us?
i only have access to:
JA37 vol 1 chapter 1
AJ vol 2 chap 1 and vol 3
AJS vol 1 and vol 2
and can’t find any more parts of those manuals.
How about the surface and abilities manual…

Except MiG-21s got nerfed too now, they have worse sustained and bleed more speed.
23 right?
Yes, but 21 aswell last update.
Hmm, honestly couldn’t tell
I flew SMT yday and i could tell, turned worse than brick, bled all speed real quick.
The Mig21 was rejected due to difference in the manual and in game being within acceptable margins for Gaijin.
I thought they reverted against the change, my bad if they did get changed
MiG-21 (all variants) — steady turn normal acceleration has been reduced by G ~0.2.
This is just a small bit from the original nerf, so they didnt do a full nerf like they originally planned.
