The J35XS is overBR'd

Except for the fact they are some of the slowest aircraft in the game. Sure decompression needs to occur, but 9Ls are no where near good enough and the A-10 is too slow to be much of a threat at a BR where so many supersonics exist. With such a decompression, the J-35XS would still be at or very near the same BR still. I personally dislike fighting supersonics in an uptier far more than a very slow subsonic with all-aspect IRs. They are annoying to deal with, but you at least have a chance.

Yeah, who doesn’t love getting AIM 9Ls to the face when they don’t have flares. Also, if we really care about speed, then the Vampire wouldn’t be 8.0, the Venom wouldn’t be 8.7, yet here we are: two early jets built in the early 1940s that are slower than every jet at 6.7-7.7 being placed at a much higher tier because? Well, no one knows.

Well, the J35XS has flares. Might only be 12, but that is 8 more than you need to deal with an A-10A.

As for the Vampire and Venom. Thats just Britain Tax for you. Nothing new there.

Pretty much every single British aircraft is 0.3-.0.7 BR too high until you reach the Typhoon

Don’t jinx us, mate. They might make our Typhoon 14.7 just to spite us.

Nah, they are just nerfing it instead.

That’s our fault that the Brits understand decent engineering. Not Britain’s fault that they can make decent jets without throwing too many sensors that shut down over a speck of dirt (Germany) or spent the entire time being gluttons and spilling sauce on the plans (Italy).

Wow… an Irishman defending Britain, brings us back to the battle of the Boyne, aye lad?

Absolultely not.
Already debated and your opinions are very unpopular.
This plane is shit enough as it is at this BR.

I beg to differ.
It wreaks havoc in a full downtier because of the 6 Aim-9Js.
This isn’t nearly as bad as with the F-104G since at least you can get it off your tail

J7D flies way better, it can double loop easy while the J35XS loses it’s speed and become a flying brik with a target drawn on it.
If they hadn’t taken away its agility and with more horsepower, you would maybe be closer to the truth, but as is you have most of the time to prepare your attack from waaaay above and fly away, almost never chase anyone, and to avoid the SARH missiles and the others as you’re an easier target up there.
All my kills are almost all sneak attack and use at the extreme of the locking mechanism of those missiles.

  • the shittiest machine gun of the game I ever seen at this BR.

I haven’t seen anyone “wreak havoc” in a J35XS, it’s at most 2 kills + bots if you survive rarely more.
I only play this jet most of the time and my best of the best was 4 victims, but it was very cironstances dependant, because I found myself often by chance behind other planes.
Rear aspect missile are hard to land.

Most players are bad at the game, so I am not really surprised.

Aim-9Js are one of the better rear-aspect missiles because of its good range, ability to use them off-bore, and their good G overload.

Going high and then swooping down behind hoardes of 9.3 enemies usually gives easy kills.
How do I know?
Because the F.58 Hunter has Aim-9Js and dominated the 9.7 BR bracked to the point where Gaijin moved it to 10.0.

You are extremely good at third-partying because you have 6 in total, and half the time the enemy doesn’t even have any flares to counter it.

As for flight model, I will 1v1 a friend (who will be using the J-7D, while I will be in the J35D) to see how different they are.

J35XS doesn’t use those missiles.
They have the RB24J, so…

They are the same thing…

The “RB-24” is just a license built Aim-9

The RB-24J I think is a Aim-9P-3 (which is essentially the same as an Aim-9J)

Nah, sweden are always drunk, they can’t make as good as the muricans.

Gaijin is too lazy to do anything more than rename them.

RB-24Js can use radar to slave onto enemies.
That’s the only difference compared to the Aim-9J.

Thank you.

Joke aside, it’s a premium, it’s usual it’s a little bit better than it’s BR.
