I find that most of them don’t really know what you have Magic Is and they’ll let you chill 0.8 km on their tail because they think that you can’t hit them with a missile or they could flare it.
I can see where you came from. I think if they just revert the FM and downtier it to 11,0 it would see more sales.
Yeah… Or some other buff appropriate, though FM changes are likely needed.
Good for you then, everyone in that plane that I met always seems to have ass-facing eye and tapped that flare in the right moment.

Oof unluckily I guess, once the Magic is within 0.6km there’s nothing they can really do. Definitely my favorite rear aspect missile.
Maybe my game kinda fucked, I’ve done 400m magic shots and the flare still makes it act up

Many planes in that area are overtiered and undertiered. Kfir Canard should also be lowered. 2 9Gs and barely alright flight performance at 11.3 (still inferior to F5) with no radar and a barely functional RWR? while the J7E and J7D are at 11.0 and the F14A Iran is at 12.3.
J35D is 10.3, to be fair, and gets four 24Js.
True. Though the fact it has no CMs at all, at least means my SRAAMs for example can be used. J35XS even though it only has 12. Can still block 100% of my SRAAMs and as we have seen with the French F6. It would be 9.0 if not for the SRAAMs
(Also, you see a LOT more J35XS than J35Ds as its Premium and Sweden doesnt have a lot of choices at the moment)
Im not opposed to it getting down to 10.7. But would prefer incremental changes rather than immediately dropping 0.7 BRs

True. Tbh for only getting SRAAMs it seems a tad over-BR’d. Its 1.0 above the MiG-21S (R-13-300) in AB, which seems… unfair.
Fair. Given the stats I have seen on the RB28s, it could very easily be above 11.3, especially if they slipped on some countermeasure pods and fixed the FM.
Yeah… Full strength SRAAMs. Fine for 9.7. Myabe even 10.0. But in their barely usable state. Should be no higher than 9.3. If that.
Yeah, the J35XS on paper should be pretty good and should be one of the stronger 11.0s in game. But there is just a sequence of unfortunate attributes that drop it down, but not entirely. Its in a bit of limbo.

I can agree the hunter should go down to 9.3 in both AB and RB, though.

SB too… RAF Hunters make no sense, The Britain tax is strong.
French Hunter F6 = 9.0 in RB/SB
Hunter FGA9 = 9.3 in RB and 9.7 in SB
Hunter F6 = 9.7 in RB/SB
Hunter F1 = 9.0 in RB/SB
The BRs make no sense… At all.
So long as the update is called “Release the Draken” and had a piratey theme, then sure :P

Heh. At least you arent as bad as the J21s/J22s we have.
Air BRs around that range dont make a lot of sense to be honest, and we really need decompression, especially in AB. My vamp faces MiG-21s with radar missiles on the regular, it aint fair.
Imo the vamps should all go down at least .3.
(And yes, I want that update.)

Yeah the F-86s and Migs got a nice buff in that BR drop as “korean era gun fighters struggling vs AAMs” and then they just forgot Britian, Sweden and France even existed and their “Korean era gun fighters struggling vs AAMs”
Yup.
I dont mind facing F-86s and MiG-15 earlys in a full uptier- the vamp is decently competitive if you fly it right, but facing supersonic stuff is a no-go and I would quite honestly rather not face radar missiles.
Imo the BR cap needs to go to ~15.7 so that it can be decompressed in that area.
(Also why is the A29s AAB Br above the J29? Idfk.)
I think they did say that the rest of the tree decompress was coming with the next BR change. and considering its been about 2 months longer than when I expected another BR change im hoping thats because it is going to decompress not only the rest of the air tree but also the ground tree.
That and that alone might be enough for the J35XS along with a 0.3 BR drop. (or if the weak stuff at 9.7 ended up at 9.3 then would have no issue with J35XS at 10.7)
