There is no info about a diff IRCM system for the J-15D, but i seems this system has spherical coverage.
But this doesn’t seem to be on any production J-15, so I don’t know if GAIJIN would accept it.
If you are talking about Russian patent - not possible, it is for modern blocks of 14 countermeasures, found on Su-35 and Su-30SM.

China operates the SU-35, and breaking patents isn’t a problem for them.
As if Chinese flankers don’t suffer from something similar, like the J11B being forced to carry 2x more PL8s instead of 2x PL12s, every Chinese flanker carries 2 fewer FOX3s than a Russian flanker.
…and you can’t take R27 anymore either

This is not about breaking patents, the pods are physically different. J-15T has little 3 round pods, Su-35 has big 14 round pods
Something has to be done, you can’t play with 48 countermeasures.

Best thing that gaijin can do at the moment is to put it at 14.3. Without any proofs of additional countermeasures J-15T will just have to suffer until ECM gets added to the game.
Compression is not the solution, the problem with this fighter jet is not the br.
That’s a damn amount of countermeasures.
Even if it were 14.0, the problem would still be there.
The biggest problem with this fighter jet is the CM; there’s only one way to solve this problem without creating other problems (like in the case of compression).
The J10C already struggles with a 72cm on the 14.3, the situation with the J15T on the at 48cm won’t change anything.

then either wait for ECM to be modelled in the game or pray that China will show something promising at expo that can be given to J-15T

I’ll ask Gaijin to make a balance adjustment and make the plane playable until the ECM is modeled.
The selective realism in this game( and the community) irritates me somewhat.
Of course he wasn’t going to stay in that miserable state; the aircraft is Russian. If it were a minor nation, it would certainly be miserable.
The way bug reports work in this game is also quite complicated; it’s not like in other games, and basically, people trying to nerf or buff vehicles is kind of pathetic.
F104S ASA still has the onedirectional RWR despite IRL it just being an indicator for being locked and having the jammer working.
As the J15 is not a hyperdeadly russian plane of megadestruction, it will remain as it is. To balance people askiing for it being playable, R77-2 is now introduced.

I have a theory that the J-16 hasn’t been activated yet because the Su-30SM-2 would have a competitor; they didn’t add the Su-35 to Russia because they would have had to add China as well; and Gaijin hates that a minor nation compete with a major nation.
They didn’t add the J11BG instead because it would also be a decent competitor to the Su-30SM2 in terms of air superiority.
They didn’t add the F-CK-1 because it would be too cool.
Between the brand new f16V block 70 and the updated block 72, they obviously chose the worse one.
The theory is that China is always two patches (or more) behind Russia, just as Israel is two patches or more behind the US. The Gaijin doesn’t particularly like minor nations (with the exception of Japan). When a minor nation competes with one of the game’s main nations, this dislike becomes systematic disdain, discouraging players from playing with those nations.
China should be promoted to a major nation, because in military and geopolitical terms, China is a major geopolitical player, just like Russia and the US.

LOL, Japans SPAAs either lack the range to engage targets, take half the map to start maneuvering creating a massive dead zone or just shoot their missiles into the ground due to having a misaligned seeker, Yamato and Musashi being worse than 8.3 ships, the F-2A being added a year after it would have been useful, most Zeros now nearly a full BR over where they should be, the Type 10 having the wrong armour type, wrong transmission and nerfed hydrodynamic suspension, ASM2/3 still don’t track targets most of the time, no Thai VT-4, R2Y2 V1 being removed because they are to lazy to fix it’s armament.
