well it pretty much is two missiles ‘chuck’ and then fly back, it’s unlike the other ones that carries 6 AIM120s. I wish PL8Bs could get added.

I haven’t seen any photos of J-15s with WS engines apart from the two J-15s that tested the engines.

is the r77 that bad? i’d appreciate some fire and forget radar missiles instead of the 2 r27ER ( which are amazing) so that it’s possible to somewhat retaliate against people with fox 3

No as in it is now 13.7 not 13.0. At 13.7 it pretty much is AIM120 ruling plus bad radar so you can fire one at a time, which diminishes one of the advantages of fox 3 which is to launch at multiple targets.

J-11A is so trash I’m avoiding playing my unspaded Q-5L so I don’t put RP into it.

They have no range. They’re fine within like 5 miles but outside of that you’re better off using r27er’s. Actually in a lot of situations you’re better off using er’s within 5 miles too.

A plane where you can only launch 1 R-77 at a time if you don’t want to give people warnings using a radar whose refresh rate is half a year, and an RWR that uses lightbulbs as indicators…

You can only guide one R77 if you are J11A anyway, it’s essentially a SARH since you loose one of the most obvious advantage for Fox 3s.

Corrected the title since we’ve got the new(ish) BR changes which are absolutely disappointing and the J-11A still stands as the worst 13.7 aircraft in-game.

Yeah but they have so little range that you only ever launch them from close enough that they don’t data link anyways. The rwr is definitely shit but if you only ever use the radar in hms mode it’s not too bad.

Everything about it is identical to the j11 but it has maws and r77’s. Same mediocre radar, same mediocre rwr, same flight model.
