In the game, all Centaur tanks and vehicles using the Centaur chassis, except for the VRCC, have consistent main gun depression angles at the front, which are not affected by any factors. However, the VRCC’s main gun depression angle significantly decreases in the left front direction, causing me trouble and severely impacting the gameplay experience.
Specifically, the VRCC’s main gun depression angle significantly decreases above the left front headlight, causing the main gun to elevate. This issue is unique to the VRCC, as other Centaur tanks do not exhibit this behavior. Based on the in-game models, there are no visible errors or interference in other Centaur tanks. I am unsure what causes this, but it is apparent that the reason is not clearly reflected in the game. It’s perplexing that the same chassis results in different main gun depression angles. More critically, the VRCC’s main gun depression angle is limited over a large area in the left front direction, resulting in insufficient depression when the turret is pointed to the side. During my gameplay with the VRCC, this issue has repeatedly prevented me from aiming the gun at enemies, or caused the gun to elevate due to vehicle movement, severely impacting the overall gameplay experience.
I hope the developers can investigate this issue and make adjustments so that the VRCC and other Centaur tanks have consistent depression angles or provide an explanation for this discrepancy. Thank you very much.
Its the driver’s hatch, the gun has to elevate slightly to not collide with it.
The other 105mm Centauro’s have a much shorter armour sleeve around the base of the gun, which seem to just barely touch the driver’s hatch currently, ignoring the cloth dust cover.
The longer VRCC one would clip with the hatch though.
I went into the game and took a look, and you are right. But this is a really sad fact, VRCC is my favorite Centaur, but because of this defect, my gaming experience has been seriously reduced. :(
Its still an amazing light tank
