Also, I find the PL5CII better than PL8B, the 8B has more range but the CII is much faster, which works better for the gatewidth IRCCM so it closes faster on the target to gain flare resistance, and is also spotted for much less time than the PL8B that will burn for longer. Bonus points for being lighter too.
The smoke or smokeless motors don’t really make any difference in AirRB because the missile gets spotted when the motor is ON, which defeats the purpose of smokeless motors.
