The Israel ground problem

the Sabra is equipped with a 120mm cannon, it can’t load M248

wait crap I also misread lol, they have similar names. Both would be very nice vehicles to see though!

I wasn’t aware of this vehicle.

Testimony isn’t evidence.

It is. This is the IDF’s official Youtube channel.

And Odin is owned by the US military; Odin is still a media company, and YouTube is still an advertising platform.
Testimony is not evidence.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think you’re trying to change the rules so your precious Russian tanks can get buffed.

And I am thankful Gaijin continues to forbid crew testimony from vehicle implementation and editing.

It is. This is the IDF’s official Youtube channel.

Then everything the Russian military says is also true according to you.

If Russia’s Armed Forces’ official Youtube channel says the T-34 Obr 2024 weighs 33 tons, I’ll believe them.

truth doesn’t exist; there are only interpretations.

“Evidence” in War Thunder doesn’t exist for modern vehicles, don’t be naive. Just give the damn tank gameplay characteristics closer to the IDF doctrine: heavy and slow tanks with well-protected crews.

First of all this is a article that also states the tank weighs 80 tons
Ynet on merkava

Second if the idf wanted to clickbait views they could have went with 65 tons ( like gaijin claims) because to whoever isn’t a tank nerd anything above 60 tons sounds crazy heavy

Third if you check the idf channel you will see that most of their videos are mainly aimed at future conscripts to teach them about the idf before joining and there is no benefit to lie to them about the weight of a vehicle because they will anyway see the user manual if they join the armored crops

Also, 80 tons is a nerf to mobility for War Thunder with no other gains.
Despite having no admissible evidence as well.

Not sure why there’s this war to nerf Merkavas.

The difference is that Russian military in reality is suffering in Ukrain and are trying to cover up their losses in Ukrain lin comparison the idf during the second Lebanon war had seven merkava 4 that where hit (according to a high ranking idf commander all merkavas that where hit during the second lebenon war where hit with Kornet missiles) five of them where repaired in the field and only two needed to be towed but the crew in Those tanks where fine

Tad lashiryon second lebenon war

One of the reasons the merkava has bad armor is because gaijin claims the tank is too big to be well protected and weight 65 tons . If it’s proved that the tank is heavier then it should get an Armor buff

good, go play something else

While im probably wrong, this is what I know from following Merkava stuff.

This “war” to nerf the Merkava is because how Gaijin modeled its armour(Or its lack of).

Gaijin argued that the Merkava was too light at 65 tons for its armour to provided any substantial amount of KE protection. Its armour wasn’t “dense” enough to provided good KE protection. So if the community wants the Merkava armour to be better against kinetic rounds, the tank needs to be confirmed to be heavier given the MASSIVE AMOUNT OF COMPOSITE ARMOUR it has.

So in short…

Merkava Weight = KE protection.
Lighter = Less KE protection
Heavier = More KE protection

That’s my take away from stalking Merkava threads.

Prove it.
Cause the only people that made that claim are players.

Weight is exclusive a nerf. Armor is not and has never been increased because of weight of a vehicle.
Everyone knows this, which is why those begging for 80 ton Merkava are Merkava haters.

As I said in my comment

I’m simply parroting what I’ve heard and seen from Merkava threads. I’m missing pieces of context and history of the Merkava in the game and hows its modeled, I know I’m missing information.

I did. But this doesn’t return my investment. If you want me to fully abstain from Israel’s TT, feel free to DM me and I’ll give you the details to pay me for every premium I bought.

well done
