The high-altitude performance of the J-15T is almost unacceptably poor

Actually, Stashark told me that the acceleration performance of the J-15T is actually quite poor compared to other fighter jets in 14.7.

interesting. i thought ws-10 had better higher altitude thrust than al-31 series, ig that’s not the case for their successor versions.
though we only have charts for ws-10a vs al-31f, not ws-10b vs al-41f1s

That’s why Gaijin can make things up like this. They’re basically doing whatever they want.As a highly classified engine, Gaijin has no way of getting accurate data—and of course, neither do we.:(

It’s just straight up worse than AL-31FN S3, so it made the J-10C worse with WS-10B.
This is peak modelling, according to Gaijin they replaced the engine with one that is worse, lmao.

I don’t get why they don’t add j-15 with al-31f1 series 5 engine, it would perform better than ws-10b engine certainly with how its modeled currently
it has 14000 kgf thrust at static, but when in motion it would probably have more than ws-10b at high speed

I’ve found that the AL-41F engine delivers extremely high thrust at 10,000 meters altitude between 1200 km/h and 1600 km/h—so high that it’s qualitatively different.I don’t know if this is realistic. At least according to unofficial military information in China, the actual high-speed thrust of the AL-41F is not as high as claimed.Of course, I have no solid evidence; this is just a rumor.

For now, WS-10B is just a larger version of WS-10A.
I think Gaijin should increase the thrust of the WS-10B at 10,000 meters altitude between 1200 and 1600 km/h. Or more directly: reduce the weight of the J-15T.

Yeah I thought j-15 was supposed to be only 17.5 tons.
Instead it’s almost as heavy as the su-30mkm

Su-30mkm is 18450 kg.
J-15t is 18300 kg

why is it so heavy ? doesnt it use composites to make it lighter ?

the SU33 only weighs 19.09 tons empty how did the weight spike ? it jumps a Whole TON which is difference between a F15C to a A which makes no sense since weight was reduced

The engine performance of the J15t should be improved.

Anyway, in the test server, once the WS10B enters high altitude, its power output drops sharply, far lower than the AL41’s high-altitude performance.

The OG J-15 was said to be 17500. The J-15T has catobar Gear and upgraded avionics so the weight increase is logical and reasonable
