The He 219 A-7 Returns with a Discount for the Anniversary of its First Flight!

Robert Lusser, who had worked alongside Willy Messerschmitt on the legendary Bf 109, later moved to the Heinkel design bureau, where he contributed to the development of the early jet-powered He 280 and the He 219 night fighter. The latter made its maiden flight on November 6th 1942. This was the final aircraft Lusser worked on. The He 219 failed to gain favor with the Reich Aviation Ministry and was produced in only limited numbers, with a total of just 268 units built.

He 219 A-7 (Germany, Rank IV)

2,086 Golden Eagles

  • The He 219 A-7 (rank IV) is a heavy fighter capable of incinerating its opponents with four 30 mm and two 20 mm cannons. While it lacks decent maneuverability, it climbs rapidly, boasts high survivability, and features a radar, which is certainly a rarity for its time!
