The notoriously lazy brain dead giant circle maps, in addition to over compression up tier are killing the game. Seriously, what if ground matches were nothing but an open tree-less field where everyone was in a big circle shooting at each other?
There are many interesting island maps with cover and cap points. These giant lazy circles where everyone has a Soyez are boring, stupid, unfair, and just absolutely slovenly in terms of creativity. Even a gimmicky cartoonish bad game like WoW has better maps, and thatβs a really low bar.

Yep, the Conquests maps need to go, the open water ones especially as they are basically just a case of who can land rounds first, but even the half decent ones with islands, can be terribly unbalanced

oh yeah i agree but last time i suggested it someone said it would buff germany so i dropped it because the naval community isnt worth it none of them speak objectively about boats especially the american mains
IRL engagements for example bismarck and HMS hood and POW the engagement only landed a killing blow at 9 MILES dread noughts at jutland shooting at 6.5 miles
so bigger maps are a no go as they just benefit the person with the best guns and armor what should be made are 1-10 mile maps with islands like
closest in game thing we have to a good naval map is north sea

what we need are CQC maps basically for naval with lots of cover to manuver close
