until the lightning shows up
Fly to orbit and lob missiles down. At least for matches 10.0 and below
Hardest
Not fast
Guess you re trying to say retention? which is more related to the “weird” low velocity heavy rounds on the nr30/ cn copy
at range. lol. Shooting this thing at range.
1000m/s speaks for itself.
Compared to the nr30 I’d rather use the nr23/ cn copies. not to say gsh23. Only for a more reasonable handling.
It seems like you don’t grasp basic physics. The 1000m/s from the 20mm vulcan represents muzzle velocity. Thats the speed the bullet will travel when exiting the gun muzzle if the cannon sits stationary.
Right after exiting the barrel of the gun, it will start depleting speed very fast, because the bullet isn’t being pushed anymore by the high pressure gas expanding inside the barrel. Right after it leaves the barrel, it is at its fastest speed and, as such, is at the point where it suffers the most drag from the air around it.
After the round travels 1 km, it will be considerably slower, and the 30mm from the NR30 will retain more speed at that distance despite the lower initial muzzle velocity, which also means it has a flatter trajectory.
There are few guns in game that allow me to kill someone at 1.2km range while chasing the target at over mach 1 at low altitude. The NR30 can, the vulcan certainly cannot. The 20mm rounds will just fall of the sky before having the chance of hitting the target.
In this situation, the bullet needs to travel more than the 1.2km range because the target is running away from the bullet. It’s the same as a rear aspect missile that needs to travel more than the distance you are from the target to hit it.
If you fly an F-16 at maximum speed at sea level, you can almost catch the rounds splashing right in front of you in the sea because of how fast they lose speed.
Reading comprehension.
There are few situations in game that allow you to aim and shoot someone at 1.3km while chasing the target at over mach 1 at low altitude.
1.3km is the range of one of my phantom kills. Took the shell 2 if not 3 secs to fly, during which the phantom can roll away 500 times. Not to say the testing on lifting the aim to counter gravity.
A capability without a using scenario is useless. Basically the definition of the word Useless./
Until you realise the F-6C is a export variant of the J-6C which itself is just a Chinese MiG-19S, so that IS how it works. Gaijin however randomly decided to copy and paste the FM values of the MiG-19PT, a prototype which was never exported (I’m aware the P is a thing, but not in-game)…
so i wasn’t shitting out my ass, the F-6C was indeed meant to have the 19S flightmodel
From my knowledge, yes, the F-6C should indeed have the MiG-19S FM in-game.
The F-6C is actually different than the J-6C. The J-6C has a Mig-21 style nose cone but the F-6C we have in-game doesnt. I dont think the J-6C is “just a Chinese MiG-19S”, it has a distinctly different nose cone and wing proportions.
isnt the F6C the exact same plane as Mig19S?
I’m aware of those changes, but that doesn’t really make it anymore less of a copy when compared to the Soviet MiG-19. The main objective of the J-6C was the improvement of maneuverability.

Small note: the F-6C’s FM in-game should be the same as the MiG-19S regardless
What someone defines as a copy is almost entirely subjective, just like how someone may refer to the J-11A as a copy (even though it has gone through some semi-extensive upgrade packages). For all intended purpose, all Chinese J-6’s aside from their UAV counterparts are copies.
Additionally, if memory serves correct, the F-6C did inherit some attributes from later J-6 variants (like the restoration of its third autocannon).
Somewhat related but the F-6C should have the AIM-9P2/P3 and funnily enough also has a unique model in-game (e.g., new IFF).
