It would be small if there were only two people, but there are maybe hundreds.
I switched the driver to 573.52, since that is the latest driver that nvidia recommended in their Vulkan Driver Support | NVIDIA Developer. Hope it will help. If no, other guy recommended me to use 566.36 driver.
I’m using now 576.28 drivers, and no more issues for me
“hundreds” is still in this context a small number of players as there are hundreds of thousands that play daily. “hundreds” would then be 0.1% of players.
I assume you guys are actually trying to play with RayTracing. I have it off, and I still get a RT crash, I kid you not:]
i’ve been having the exact same crash message
And do you have RT on?
i have this fatal error with the rt off
I just went through the error message and the last line is not RayTracing error, its an low-level Windows NT kernel function. Thanks ChatGPT:]
no I feel stupid saying this but I don’t know what it is and how to do it
Feel stupid asking a question? Well that’s stupid :)
If you meant clearing your cache, it’s in your directory. No harder than deleting the folder labeled “cache”, which in my case is in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War Thunder
As for a crash dump, find it in your task manager. Right click the app and select “Create Memory Dump File”.
Any time your game crashes, find the associated .dmp files within:
C:\Windows\Minidump
ok thanks a lot I will try, even if I play from the war thunder launcher not steam
This is primarily a DirectX 12 (DX12) error.
kernel32!BaseThreadInitThunk (Windows kernel thread initialization)
ntdll!RtlUserThreadStart (NT kernel-level thread management).
This indicates the crash propagated to the OS kernel after the DX12 failure
I tested something, and it turned out that I crash 3-8 seconds after the incendiary bomb detonates.
in test flight looking directly at it…
Hello guys,
I’am having the same issue and after some testing, it is defenetivily bonded to the drop of incendiary bombs.
I think we should report it via bug report like necronomica said. The bug is easy to recreate in custom battles.
There is a report on it already that you can press “i have the same issue” on to give it more visibility:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/MpKt50MRU72E
Here is the latest update from the Technical Moderators on the issue:
Same here — sometimes it crashes after selecting a tank, other times right after I spawn or play for a few seconds. I’m on a laptop with integrated graphics, and even after updating the drivers, checking, and verifying the game files, the issue still isn’t fixed. Gaijin really needs to fix their game.
yeah I have the same issue as well
my PC gets rebooted - especially while starting a GRB or at the Mission Accomplished/Failed screen.
I notice that while booting the game, sometimes it says Battleye update failed.
have updated GPU drivers / done a clean uninstall and reinstall of the game / verified files etc.
No idea how to fix this shit.
CPU - i914900 K
GPU - RTX 4090
RAM - 128 GB DDR5
SSD installed - changed installation location to different SSD as well.
this issue is quite repititive and happens after every 7-8 matches and sometimes on booting the game as such.
