War thunder crashes after a few seconds after entering a battle, first it freezes the image then black screen and I reappear either dead or far from where I was with my graphics all bugged. Sometimes it crashes completely, the game closes and I have a window asking to send crash dump to developers.
It has become impossible to play, I can hardly launch a battle without crashing.
For me, yesterday’s small update stopped my game from crashing, and while the black screen and stuttering still existed, at least I was able to play. Oddly enough, these issues only appear when I’m playing War Thunder, and I don’t have them when I’m playing other games with more demanding specs like Cyberpunk 2077 or Gray Zone Warfare, so I still don’t think it’s my PC issue. Unfortunately I have to spend 899 Gold Eagle to buy a star now, thank you gaijin

I have the same problems after entering a game after a few minutes it freezes forcing the exit from WT and making the game unplayable. This occurs since the Hornet’s Sting update before that did not happen, I am Mac user “Imac M3” on the Mac cannot update the controllers, this is a bug of the games not of the PC or Mac users. You should take this bug more than making superficial fixes to the game.
i play on a gaming laptop that could comfortably run on medium-low graphics, but after this update i set the graphics to potato and it still crashes every 30 mins, but seeing that the EXACT SAME THING is even happening to people with BEEFY computers, i guess its weirdly comforting that its not an issue on my end? but yeah, im also trying to get the FRIOS and these constant crashes make it REALLY hard
I have the same problem, but only in ground battles and only in the top tier. At the beginning, a black screen appears, the sound is bugged and either someone kills me and I can take the next tank, or (most often) the game crashes and only a window appears asking if I want to send a bug report. By the way, the FPS jumps incredibly and even if I want to, I can’t play on 12.0, because it’s simply unplayable. I have this problem since the release of the last update. I installed the latest GPU drivers and even updated Windows. Nothing helped. It’s 100% the game’s fault, because I don’t think the RTX 3070 has such a problem with generating graphics.
