The game crashes for no reason

It’s been 2 weeks since the Hornet’s Sting update and 11 days since my post here and there’s still no fix, don’t you think by now it should have been fixed? I have 2 Imac, a new one with M3 that is impossible to play since every time I enter the games it freezes changing the graphics High or low is the same and the old Intel Imac that with that at least you can play but from time to time it freezes.
I don’t think I’m the only one who has problems, but there are hundreds, not to say thousands, either on Mac or PC with this error.
What bothers me the most is that neither the developers nor administrators can give news if they are aware of this problem, other than make superficial fixes that do not solve the substance of this problem.

Thx

Yesterday, in the middle of a battle (Air RB), the game crashed to desktop, disappeared from the screen suddenly , but it was still running in the background!! And I just had no way to restore it. I had to close it via task manager and launch again.

Hello everyone

I have the same problem, since the update. It definitely can’t be because of my hardware!
At first I also had a blue screen, then I even reinstalled Nvidia app / graphics card without success. From then on I didn’t have a blue screen. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail. I don’t know what to do anymore.

My hardware:

CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core ™ i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz
Memory: 64.0 GB
Graphics: RTX 4090 OC 24 GB

i have almost the same specs and iv been getting a lot of lag spikes too and all the tanks are being really glitchy kinda making it hard to spot if they are bots or just really bad server issues

That’s exactly what you say! I did the same, and only yesterday I noticed. Either I have a good round and fly out! Or just fly out like that! And I have lag spikes too! Driver restarted no success!

Hello

small update disable XMP for Intel in the BIOS or for AMD the DOCP that is for overclocking the RAM! I deactivated that and has been running stably for 2 hours.

yeah no thanks i would rather not melt my pc just for 2 hours on war thunder -_-

Hello

Well, deactivating it is not as bad as activating it. Unless your PC doesn’t cooperate. I reinstalled my PC over the weekend! The reason was that Nvidia APP completely paralyzed my system. By re-instilling Windows, it runs better than before.

Activating ray tracing and DX12 tanks my fps into the low double digits, raises my temps to above 100 and eventually crashes the game. This is despite having a PC with an Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM and an Nvidia 4060 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. i can run Space Marines 2, Metro Exodus and Helldivers 2 at max settings with no problems at all. Only war thunder runs terribly. I’m even forced to play in Windowed mode or else the game freezes and crashes when I alt+tab to other windows. Been this way since Storm Warning. It stinks of god awful optimization.

same story since the last 2 major updates, and worse after hornet sting, no matter if its DX12 or 11, game will just freeze and crash mid match, and the sounds get corrupted so it becomes horrible.
Similar specs 4070TiS, 12900K, 64GB of ram, etc.
Game is on an nvme ssd

It’s been the same for me for the past year… I’ve tried every single possible solution to fix the random crash but even sometimes I get BSOD, my setup is very up to date and even hardware is quality, 32gb of ram, Intel I9 13th gen and 4070… All I keep getting from gaijin is “have you updated all your softwares” and that is it they don’t bother going ahead with anything.

So far to this date i’ve watched over 100+ videos on potential solutions did all of them, had to reset my computer and reinstall from scratch, even changed SSD and Ram just to be sure and it is still the same issue.

One thing i’ve noticed is that other games in the past where i had similar issues have always been with Battle Eye… maybe it does something in your internal files that forces a crash or even BSOD.

Started crashing randomly. Never had a problem with it before. I910850k with RTX 3070. 32g’s of RAM and now all of a sudden im constantly crashing?

BattleEye wasnt worth it.

everytime i try to play the game it would either crash when i’m about to play the game or when im idle in the main menu looking at premiums, even sometimes when i load the game and reach the main menu it just crashes. Heres my specs, i’ve also updated my drivers to the latest too.

i5-8600
gtx 1070
ultra low graphics
Use steam to launch WT

The Issue is still present

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor 4.70 GHz
32,0 GB DDR5 RAM
4070Ti
All drivers are fresh

I’m have the same issue
after I installed a brand new 5060ti 16gb few day ago, coming from 3080 since then I been experiencing black screen momentarily and when back to game few second later the textures drop to low, the vehicle is black.
My GPU drivers are up to date and also Motherboard BIOS drivers has been updated few months ago…
Any one here have the same issue? And if have any corrections for this let me know
Thanks
My spec are
TUF Z790 pro
I5 14600K
64gb RAM
W10 64 bit
Game installed on SSD 1tb with high speed bus
RTX 5060ti 16gb
PSU 850w bronze modular

I did that and it still crashes and don’t dismiss us with the update your drivers when it’s still happening to everyone after updating them.

It not happening to everyone. It happen to a really small number of players.
And update GPU drivers is basics, same like switch off/switch on routine - you do this to be sure you can exclude the simplest factor.

If you still have issues, you can always create a valid bug report with all the needed data here: Community Bug Reporting System
Cheers!

my drivers are already updated, and the same thing happens to me sometimes the game crashes when i boot it up
