The fw190 s flaps' taking off/on time has been extended sharply in the dev server

On the test server, the flap deployment/retraction speed of the FW 190 series has been significantly nerfed, with the actuation time increased from roughly 4 seconds to a staggering 12–14 seconds.

Regarding this issue, I would like to ask Gaijin: what exactly is your standard for nerfing or buffing a vehicle? The FW 190 has already been subjected to multiple rounds of nerfs in previous patches, and its current performance can only be described as underwhelming. Based on the test server, it seems that the FW 190 will suffer yet another blow in the upcoming update. However, the official side has not issued any notice or explanation regarding this nerf.

Secondly, I would also like to ask: has Gaijin simply forgotten about the WW2 battle ratings? Although the current public discourse tends to favor top tier, the WW2 bracket is still where the majority of War Thunder players congregate. Yet the official adjustments to WW2 BRs have repeatedly been unsatisfactory—take the last BR change, for example: the FW 190 A-8, the A6M5 (Ko/Otsu), and the G.55 (serie 1/sottoserie 0), which are generally considered average or weak, were moved up in BR, while the F8F-1, which possesses a flight performance roughly equivalent to BR 6.0 and has long dominated the 4.7 bracket, was left completely untouched. These changes have sparked widespread discontent within the community.

I hope Gaijin can provide an answer.

Honestly, if the flap deployment time is historically accurate, then fine, but they should review the FW-190’s flight model, which is awful. In reality, it was the Spitfire’s worst nightmare, being quite similar in maneuverability except for sustained turns.

Even w/ flaps the 190 is iredeemable in RB anyways. Maybe a nerf for the dozen Sim players

mr snail don’t care about WWII and never give answer at all it’s always forgotten they keep nerf Fw 190 with no reason and explaining.

it’s awful experiences to play Fw 190 !

mr snail only care about modern aircraft / tanks and WWII players are forgotten by mr snail even many players joined for WWII vehicles.

i see many posts about WWII and players asking question never answered by snail developers i wish if they have maybe a mod or community manger that can answer questions for WWI / WWII / cold war vehicles only.

don’t tell me they made them 109 kind of slow. At those they become unusable, even with combat configuration.
