I mean were missing jus toff the top of my head numeroius leopard 1 models, chieftains, centurions, pattons, T series like the 55 and mods of it and T62, (more the russian protos)
The french AMX30s are a plethora of htem are missing ( some of the best ones)
the swedes I think are missing some.
Swiss is missing hte PZ61 which could of been a great addition this patch.
and so on, I don’t know a great deal of WW2 tanks other than what we already have.
But we consitantly are being force fed more and more modern gear, even the CR3 which hasn’t entered production yet.
The future of WT …
It just needs one game to copy it , just the modern part not all… and give a hint of gameplay.
There is no WT afterwards even if the other game is not so good , it just won’t say GJ on it .
WW2 has the same compression issue every other BR faces. I played 7 6.7 Germany games this weekend. 6 of them were full uptiers. After than I just left and played something else. The problem with War Thunder is the game loop. It’s not meant to be fun, it’s meant to frustrate players into buying newer and shinier premiums.
Which of these supposed new trees have sufficient domestically produced, unique vehicle designs spanning from interwar period to post-war eras?
Just because a nation has an army & navy (and airforce post WW2), does not mean that they should be a nation in Warthunder if all their armed forces consist of lend-lease and licenced foreign vehicles.
Maybe we could implement some of them like israel where they only start existing at rank 4 or even rank 5 or higher, or vice versa (only existing from rank 1 to rank 4).
Look at existing superpowers’ tech trees - china. What does china have during WW2? It has a few domestic designs, but nowhere enough for a full tree. Instead, it’s just america 2.0 with some japanese/soviet spice sprinkled in. Even post-WW2, chinese tree seems to remain america + soviet designs (with modifications).
Look at japan post-WW2. What do we have? Almost all american.
Look at GERMANY post-ww2. What do we have? Soviet + american.
Look at sweden pre-WW2. There’s a few smatterings of actual domestic WW2 designs, but a significant part is just american and german.
Genuinely still upset, sure I got the prototype grace, the Thai helldiver, Murmansk, the BP he 177 and a Italian arty truck but the crocodile would’ve been my first BP vehicle if not for exams
