Although the M4A3E2 has relatively excellent armor in its weight, it can only defend against the panther’s 75mm gun from a long distance and at a certain Angle. Coupled with the 75mm m61 shell that was already available in version 3.7, it has long been unable to cope. When facing the Tiger, it needs to carefully attack the weak areas. Moreover, the drop of the shells is very poor. When facing enemies at a slightly longer distance, it is easy to fail. Therefore, I think the M4A3E2 should be reduced to BR5.3
Yeah, it has 5s reload + a vertical stabilizer meaning you get a CQC monster with armour that has a 5s reload and can make accurate shots w/o having to slow the tank down.
The 75mm Jumbo is quite a different beast compared to most other tanks in the USA tech tree. Its strength is the armor. The gun, however, is very weak at that BR. But this affords a fun play style if you know what to look for.
First of all, don’t look for one-shot-kills. The trick with the 75 Jumbo is, basically, to cripple, flank, and execute. Almost every enemy is going to be a drawn out fight, but thanks to you armor, it is in your favor.
First shot is going to be either to turret cupolas and/or their main gun.
Second shot is to take out their tracks (or if you’re able, another weak spot like an MG port).
Close the distance, either go straight up, or go for more of a flank, now that they can’t shoot you back.
Now that you’re closer to them you can hit them in their weak side armor (if you flanked), or go through their front armor if you’re close enough.
Once you got that play style down, the thing is a total game wrecker and you might get a message or two cursing you out after the match is done from your opponents.
Yeah so everyones gets in a dissadvantage at uptiers, so what.
Lets see, you can cripple the turret crew with a APHE shot in the Tiger H1 cupola, or you can simply put an APCR round in the hull and he is done, which also you have the advantage of the stabilizer while the Tiger will need time to angle.
Now lets see at the Tiger… a well he needs to shoot you in a very very small part which its the mg port, way even smaller weakspot than tiger. And… nothing else…
Also with a stab and without that huge gun muzzle brake that the Tiger has, I would say the Jumbo also has the advantage at dissabling cannons.
the only possible way the jumbo can go down to 5.3 and not be the monster it once was, WHEN IT WAS 5.3, is to remove the stab.
so either no stab, but are now 5.3 (where you can fight 6.3’s and still get your face smashed in, just now without a fighting chance) or stay at 5.7, can face 6.7s where yes youre gonna get your face smashed in, but at the very least still have a stab whenever youre not fighting a 6.7, hint, the most amount of 6.7’s you can ever see, is 4. (unless the mm bugs out, it sometimes happens)
