The Swiss FFA P-16 prototype attack aircraft first took to the skies on April 25th, 1955. A year later, the second prototype broke the sound barrier. Due to one of the test aircraft crashing, the Swiss government canceled the order for the P-16 and today only one example exists, located at the museum in Dübendorf
The FFA P-16 is now available for Golden Eagles and is here to stay!
This jet is available for 9,090 Golden Eagles.
When: From April 25th (10:00 GMT).
Where: Germany > Aviation > Premium vehicles.
About this aircraft
The FFA P-16 features two powerful 30 mm Hispano HS 825 cannons and hardpoints that can carry 200 to 1000 kg bombs, incendiary bombs, Type R80 rockets and Flz Lwf 63 air-to-air missiles (AIM-9B).
If the V-E day sales are somewhat identical to their 2024 version, then it could be but it could probably be a 30% discount,so i’d suggest to wait the Summer Sales for the 50% discount
He is bad, because:
a) Cost $60
b) Inflated BR, and often plays at 9.7
c) Flares/Chaff is missing
d) Useless in joint battles, because there is an alternative
BR is fine. It’s only 0.3 higher than e.g. the G.91R/4 in RB, same BR in Sim, but more versatile.
Normal for its BR/tier.
That doesn’t make it a bad choice, just an additional choice.
Or let’s put it like this: If the P-16 was already out when I started grinding the German tree, I’d for sure have advanced faster and with more joy than with the G.91 R/4 I used then…
Ive had it since it came out, used it to help grind out Germany Air tree. The P-16 is more viable now the the updated ammo belts.
Quite enjoy playing with it, feel its biggest draw back is it bleeding energy easily
