I wasn’t aware of that, I know pulse SARHs are extremely vulnerable to chaff, I wasn’t aware that was a difference caused by the CW ones ability discriminate between the target and chaff (wasn’t really an issue until now, the dangerous missiles where on planes with PD radars), that might explain why the radar “box” often jumps to the chaff, but the missile still hits though.
Still chaff is so rare at it’s current BR I don’t see it as a major factor, I think 9.3 and see how it goes is appropriate. I don’t want to see it over BRed and left to die on the vine like so many other planes.

That’s for PD and MTI radars.
Nope. It’s for any CW missile even if the radar firing it isnt PD/MTI
I don’t doubt in working like that in the game if you say so. But a CW missile should hit the target which the CW illuminator is illuminating, right? If the radar is locked to the chaff, then wouldn’t that also be where the CW illuminator is pointing?
CW tech is seeing what the target is in the flashlight beam of your radar by seeing whats moving towards the missile inside that beam. Such as how PD radars work
Yes, I already got that answer from AI. Thanks for confirming.
still 9.0 btw
This one plane has been destroying 9.0 for like 3 weeks by now

Any BR range from 8.0 to 9.3 is infested with this thing and it has no reason to be 9.0 now, I can’t even climb in any cold war jet without having 2-3 of them on me
Update: It will be raised to 9.3 according to the recent planned BR changes document
