The F-16C Block 52 does not have a missile approach warning system implemented

,

I have unlocked the missile approach warning system modification, but it doesn’t actually provide any functionality.

Did you equip the PIDS pylons?

No, I didn’t equip them, because the countermeasure pylons can only be used with bombs, not with missiles.

The pylons carry the MAW equipment. Its a tradeoff : Less missiles for MAW

So in order to use the modification I developed, I have to reduce my missile loadout by two. That means I have to face those monsters carrying 12 missiles with only 4 of mine?? What a “balanced” game.

So much for MAWs! You should kick the USAF’s head for that, they’re the ones who came up with it, quickly realized it wasn’t a great idea, and promptly threw out the Block 52 right after Desert Storm.

Oh but you get AIM-120D ! ( what an upgrade those are…)

Surely the D stands for “Duper” and not “Dookie,” right…?

Didn`t you know? for the past 30 years the US has been actually downgrading their AMRAAMs, with a few engineers pocketing the copper from the “Removed electronics for upgrades” or something along those lines.

Interesting… I’ve heard such things about the AIM-9Ls being made “lighter” to be more “manoeuvrable,” but I wasn’t sure of that until one fell off an F-18 and made the same sound a tin can makes when it’s dropped on the floor. Oh, woes!

Interely correct, altough im pretty sure you can take 1 pod and the maws will still work

That’s how it is at 13.7 which also has the same type of missiles carriers lol. It’s just a problem with how missiles block the sensor on the PIDs.
