No, its because its the only chance for people to get interesting vehicles without having to spends dozens or hundreds of euros

See that by itself wouldnt be such issue, but people tend to overlook chances of getting any vehicle from SL lootboxes are slim, let alone getting specific vehicle they want.
To that end, its not reliable way of getting them.
As such i dont understand people going all “muh broken promises from gaijin where gamba” or “its clear they have issues otherwise they wouldve released them”.
Whenever they come this or next week does not change a thing.

its not the first time these boxes are going to be around, i think most people already know what to expect. Its still free, it doesnt matter whether its reliable or not because the only other way to get them is to spend pretty crazy money. People are talking about it because they come out in the same period every single year and its different this time for whatever reason, gaijin is literally adding more heat to this situation because instead of making a statement they release a “riddle” that doesnt give people the answer anyway, if the answer was clear people would shut up and nobody would be talking about it

Just had a thought, they are asking for exact quarter of the month, What if they want us to include one decimal before flipping the numbers?
If we take the 24’th of august as the date for the last reserve (since that is the date many sources seem to be using instead of the actual official unknown december date) and do math with that. 31 days in august so each quarter is 7.75 days, 24/7.75 is roughly 3.1 and since the math starts at zero and not one as quarters do; that’s the fourth quarter with an extra 0.1 = 4.1 .
So we get 62028041 and flipped that becomes 14-08-2026, so this Friday? .

That’s actually really smart and seems likely in my opinion… Having it way later, like the 20th or 30th, makes it line up badly with the russian boat event. Since crates are usually released “before, at the same time, or shortly after” events with a similar timeline. And the moderators of War Thunders Twitter account replied to a guy who guessed the 10th with “not quite” (on 4th part of the “quiz”). I’d argue that 10-20 days off wouldn’t be considered close to “not quite” rather, it’s actually quite far off since its guarrantied to be this month anyway.
