No it isn’t - it’s purpose is to make the owners money.
They get to decide what you have to do to play hte game.

Funny how everyone is talking about hypothetical possibilities. Will i provide actual proofen facts and contex. But this is all suppose to “not work” with War Thunder, because its such a “modern, highly developed,” game.
WT, gajin and all of there other games are just like Star Citizen. All supposetly so good, special and expensive.

But ultimatly its just bait, so the owners can finance there high life.
The game hasn´t changed in any real way since its release. They have just taked more onto it. Never fleshing anything out and always playing it cheap and save.
Heck, they are makeing huge battleships for naval now, but the bombers still have no proper cockpit.

honestly warthunder already is the best in it’s field, so I’m not really sure what you want
warthunder has actually changed a lot since release, even in just the last year, tanks werent even in the game when warthunder first came out

I played for years without spending a dime. Its only a grind if you make it. Low/mid ranks are really fun.
